Lines flickering verticaly thru screen

Cheers!!

Need to replace the display flex ribbon cable to solve the flickering and color lines problem. This cable gets damage over the time of long usage.

May be a loose cable or connection--does it have this issue with a input on the rear being used for a DVD etc?

Broken connection from the screen ribbon to the monitor
screen has become disconnected, mark the spot on the screen where the line occurs
and then dismantle the screen, remove the metal cover at the top of the screen,
which exposes the pc board and the ribbon connections. Where the markings of
the line is place a piece of rubber similar to (inter-tube material)over this
area, this should apply pressure to the area of the ribbon that has a
loose connection and hold it tight. The ribbon is bonded not soldered to the
screen. Reassemble and test.

my tv flat lined the screen went black with a twisted line across the screen what is the problem?

Try this:
Turn it off.
Disconnect power cord and any other device attached to it.
Take battery out.
Without anything attached. Hold down the power button for 10-15 seconds.
Connect the power cord only.
Hold down F2 (while it's off)
Turn it on while holding down F2.
Let go of F2 when something comes out of the screen.
If multi colored lines still appears.
You have either defective LCD(screen) or video card.

u might had placed some powerful magnet nearby, so pls check
if lines appear again switch it off for a few hours or remove the magnet and let it work...
it will become normal when the effect will be over

These are classed as dead pixel lines, unfortunately the screen LCD is Broken, personally just live it up or buy a second hand replacement.

flicker to which side, horizontaly or verticaly. does it compress from both side or all side. only flicker from sides or from the center also??????????
provide proper information for solution

maybe ur screen was put into a lot of magnetic interference. so check for any magnetic rays emitting devices like speaker adapters etc. a simple check would be to degauss( its in the screen properties). raja
