Missed calls icon won't remove

I cannot get my missed calls icon to remove. It's been there for several weeks. Showing 5 missed calls. I views all my missed calls, deleted them, removed my sim card. Nothing works.

I get 2 missed calls alert and cannot remove it.

I have 4 missed calls showinng, there has to be a better solution then clearing out the phone.

i lost my two sim cards of MTN uganda but i have a feeling that some one is using them i need to block them ,am called ssewanonda george ie;0772 196450, 0776 196450. i case of any information plz call .+27736088551.

You can try this, it worked for us.
Press the key that says CID (Caller ID) to view every missed called telephone number. They disappeared, but we had to do each handset. Hope that works for you.
(The CID button triangle on it.)

Sorry, just by viewing all of the missed calls on our phone they were erased, but it is not a BlackBerry Pearl.

if the notification icon for missed calls is not showing at the top of the screen then open the phone dialer screen. at the top of the screen you'll see a "call log" tab. click on that and you should see you call history, that is calls you've made, missed, or received.

just click on the "phone icon" or "Dial" icon n from there click on "call logs" and then from option button click on "view by" Then select your sim and then select "missed calls"

In call logs the calls with a DIVERTED ARROW of RED color are the Missed calls.

In my call log, I can only view the missed calls. Dialed numbers and recieved calls are not there anymore. I tried restarting the mobile and removing the battery several times but it won't work. is...

Can't get missed call off the display.

On most telephones, you must 'view' the call in your missed call directory to get rid of the icon on the main screen.

I hope this works for you. You don't say what telephone you have nor the service provider so I can't do much more for you my friend.

I have 4 missed calls icon on main screen. Will not go away.

I have seen where you can reset this by pulling out the sim card, booting up the device without the SIM card and lettign it error out the pulling the battery and replacing the SIM card and battery and letting the OS load. Who is your carrier?

My new nokia n96 has the message icon flashing non stop.

the message icon means that your sim card has old messages still stored on it. change your message storage location to sim card so you can view them, then delete them, and change it back..

as for not showing missed calls, beats me.
