SnapTouch can apply the date to photos. It is one of the major features of the program.

Information is taken out of EXIF data of the photo file that the camera creates during shooting. You can also add any comment using SnapTouch and also apply it onto a shot.

How to Use SnapTouch

If you want to remove date stamp from already taken photos, try to use Inpaint

There is no way you can delete the date stamp from the photos you have taken.
For future photos you can either correct the date or disable insertion of date stamp.

If the pictures are the ones you have shot without time and date stamp, you can't add them by your camera then. You only can add them by your computer.

go to menu, settings, turn on date stamp

The SD1000 has a built-in date stamp function but it is only available in the postcard (1600x1050) function mode. Once you switch to this mode, you can then enable the datestamp feature in the main menu.

If this is unacceptable, you can use some image editing software to add the datestamp after the photo is transferred to your computer. The date/time information is actually stored in the image's EXIF information.

I had the same problem. Apparently it only works when you are using "Postcard" resolution.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

on my sd100 it only allows the date in one mode.. i believe its the postcard size
