Fuel Question , What Fuel is the cheapest and gives the Highest Mileage per Litre in Engines ?

Steam or electric are probably cheapest TO RUN... But most expensive to buy.... Butane would probably be next... It is actually a Mixture of Butane, Methane and a few others... In Australia it is the same as we use for the BBQ..... This would probably be next.... but unless the car is Factory converted,... then you will probably need some Petrol/Gasoline just to start .. You use maybe 2 or 3 Cupfuls each time so you don't use Much... It is also a Good backup if you run out of LPG....... The rest... it depends on th e Government and Fuel Companies which one is cheapest but what it SHOULD be id From cheapest up... Diesel, Unleaded, Premium Unleaded
Forget the rest... They would be cheap to run but the conversion would be so expensive it would be not worth the effort

Can I use unleaded fuel in my 1972 3hp engine

Lead is basically a lubricant with additional octane boosting properties for gasoline powered internal combustion engines. Engines intended to run with leaded gasoline that are provided with with unleaded gasoline instead are subject to overheating and failure. Read more about lead here:

Why Lead Used to Be Added To Gasoline

Your best bet would be to use leaded gasoline - or in the absence of a leaded gasoline source, a lead additive or substitute. Most autoparts stores sell this - and if you're not near one that does - Amazon has it:

Good luck!

Is 93 Eagle Summit flex fuel?

I wouldn't think so. Flex fuel was developed after the car was built.
You could check with Chrysler or Mitsubishi to make sure.

What type of gas to use in a craftsman edger 358.773110

FUELING ENGINE This engine is certified to operate on unleaded gasoline. Before operation, gasoline must be mixed with a good quality 2-cycle air*cooled engine oil. We recommend Craftsman brand oil. Mix gasoline and oil at a ratio of 40:1 (A 40:1 ratio is obtained by mixing 3.2 ounces of oil with 1 gallon of unleaded gasoline). DO NOT use automotive oil or boat oil. These oils will cause engine damage. When mixing fuel, follow instructions printed on container. Once oil is added to gasoline, shake container momentarily to assure that the fuel is thoroughly mixed. Always read and follow the safety rules relating to fuel before fueling your unit.

2001 honda shadow what kind if fuel should i use

Regular unleaded should work well in your motorcycle; it may actually start and run better with regular than with premium gasoline.

The big wild card, however, is the amount of ethanol in the gas you are buying. Your bike would definitely run best on "pure" gasoline that contains little or no ethanol, but that's getting harder and harder to find. Personally, I have noticed that my bikes have started harder and run worse as the ethanol content in gasoline has increased. That's one reason I actually recommend staying away from premium, which sometimes has more ethanol in it than regular (it raises octane). I prefer to keep my bikes stock, rather than messing with the carb jets to compensate for the different performance curve of ethanol-blend gas.

If it's available in your area, you might try running your bike with some Cam2 racing gasoline to see if that makes a difference. You don't need the extra octane in that fuel, and some varieties of that fuel may still contain lead (a no-no for your engine), but it doesn't contain ethanol, as far as I know. Double-check with whoever is selling this fuel in your area to make sure you're getting the unleaded stuff. If you find that your bike runs well with this fuel, you might consider blending a bit of it with pump gas on going-forward basis.

We just purchased a Homelite Pressure Washer. We put new gas and oil into it, and it will run for about 2 minutes and then shut off. Now we can not even get it to run. We really don't want the hassle of...

A couple of things to check.. some rather obvious.

Assuming you have followed all the directions.. removed the pump vent plug before first use.. have a hose attached.. pressed the trigger on the wand to make sure you have water flowing etc.

Check to make sure the fuel valve is turned to ON.. fully..
If you Over filled the gas tank.. remove some of the petrol.. it should not be filled to the top...

Hopefully you put the correct amount and right type of oil into the crankcase.. again do not overfill the crankcase..

The fuel on most Homelite pressure washers is regular unleaded gasoline. NO E85 fuel should be used. Certainly no premixed gasoline for two cycle engines.

Check Choke position.. to start place in Cold Start or ON.. once started let it run for about 5 or ten seconds.. move it back to RUN..

If you ran it too long with the choke on you probably fouled the spark plug..

Remove it and clean it carefully.. if it is wet.. and all black.. it's fouled.. let it dry out.. clean it up properly (careful to not change the gap) replace and try again.

Lastly if you live in a neighborhood.. there is almost always a fellow nearby that is good with smalle engines.. ask around.. these guys are always happy to fiddle with these motors.

Best of luck to you!

What gas and oil do I use on the Honda Excell 2600 pressure washr

That engine requires a separate gas and oil. There is an oil sump with oil level needle and cap on the side of the engine. This is where you fill it with special pressure washer pump oil available from any good outdoor store or place where pressure washers are sold. As for gas, Unleaded or Premium unleaded gas will work fine. Try not to use any fuel with ethanol blends however. Here is a list of oils that will give you an idea what to buy for the oil reservoir: http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26ref%255F%3Dnb%255Fss%255Fgw%26field-keywords%3Dpressure%2520washer%2520pump%2520oil%26url%3Dsearch-alias%253Daps&tag=onlinetoolrev-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957
