You can download the drivers from the Compaq/HP WEBsupport/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the XP orVista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Click onthis link to download the drivers: -

actuaally need to know Which FOXCONN Model is the mainboard.

The audio drivers are the 4th item down in the list :-)

Go to HP website and Enter the Model number of your Motherboard. You will get all the Drivers supported to it and you can download for Sound.

try to download AC97 driver for your sound card

if u have internet connected to the same system , please go to start > control panel > device manager > sound card > right click > select update drivers online .....best of luck

I formatted my hard drive and reinstall windows xp but no sound comes from speakers I tried to install audio drivers from the motherboard CD "foxconn" but PCI driver can not be installed what should i do?

Stop searching by the actual soundcard usually fox conn is directly attacthed to your motherboard search for your motherboards model number for the drivers
