Sounds like your power switch is broken. Take the battery out of the remote and see if it still turns on and off. If not its your remote. If it keeps doing that, you may have to get the power button replaced.

When I change the channel there is a delay before picture appears. It will say NO Signal for up to 20 seconds sometimes

Your problem is a problem generated from low signal. You will need to check your antenna (or source) for loose connections and alignment.

Olevia tv screen turns itself off after several minutes.

I have been having the same problem with my 37" Olevia and have sent it to service twice. The warranty people for Target have told me there's nothing wrong with the TV and have blamed it on the Satellite Service. I changed satellite providers twice before sending it for service and had the same problem. So I changed to cable and I still had the problem. So I sent it yet again. This time they told me that again there was no problem with the TV and that the satellite service is to blame. So we called the Olevia Service and they told us is the Inverter Box and we need to send it in but to get it fixed they will charge us about half of what the TV costs... I say Hell no!

Black rectangle on screen

Try pressing the "View" button on the remote control a couple times -- it sounds like you have the picture-in-picture mode turned on but with nothing showing on the second input.

Olevia LT27HVX 27 just blue screen

I just had this same problem over the weekend. Is your TV hooked up via HDMI?? Mine was and i've been having problems with the tv image shrinking whenever i turn on the tv, so i would have to change the channel 1 or 2 times for the image to come up normally. On Saturday I went to change the channel and then all of a sudden I hearld this loud pop and when the image came on it was just a sky blue screen, I couldnt see anything, but I could hear the channel. So I disconnected the HDMI and hooked up the tv with component cables I had and now it works fine. I ordered a new HDMI cable just to see if it will work again. If not, i'm calling Olevia.

TV volume suddenly low

I had the same problem and had to fix with a work around. I take the audio directly from my cable box and pipe it in to an external 'theater in a box' system.

Do you have a universal remote code?

OLEVIA TV 227V

I have an Olevia also and it's the same way. I spent about an hour and a half on hold for tech support only to be told, "That's the way it is." Oh, he also said, "Thanks for buying our product. Happy day to you!" So every time I turn it on I think, "Happy day to you!" and by the time I'm done laughing the logo's gone! Hope this helps. ''HAPPY DAY TO YOU!"
