Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. There are two wires on the starter . The large diameter one comes from the battery. the small one goes to the solenoid. Remove them both first before you remove the two bolts that hold the starter on to the engine. If there are thin metal shims between the starter and the engine, re use them with the new starter. Reconnect the wires , connect the battery and start the car. No diagram needed or available.
Check the Spark plugs. Pull them out and see what they look like. Replace the ones that looks bad. Use a Spark Plug Gap Finder and make sure it is set to the specs of the generator.
Could be the Fuel itself. When was the last time you ran it out of gas and refill it? If the spark plugs are fine Empty the tank and place some fresh fuel. Clean or replace the Air filter. Do the general maintenance.
I had the same problem with my Dyson DC16, where it only runs for a few seconds at a time with each trigger pull. My husband called Dyson (Canada) and without hassle they shipped us a replacement part which I just received this morning. The replacement part sent to us is: DC16 Main Body with Rating Plate. It is also under warranty for 1 year. The great customer service makes up for the flaw in the machine. Also, Dyson is aware of the problem. Hope this helps.
Wheel modules? It's more likely to be the cleaning head module. Clean your brushes exactly as the manual describes-- particularly the yellow bearings. Run the Roomba on a hard floor without the dustbin. Does the brush turn? If not, call support again and they'll help you out.
Several possible problems:
1) Did you clean the blue lower pickup container (dirty water) before putting it away?
Take out the pickup container and open it up, check the filter (under the little blue piece on top) and also open up the container itself and clean under the flapper on the "screen".
2) Look inside the housing and check the vac hose that goes from the front of the unit up to the rubber grommet where it goes into the lower pickup container. Is it clogged? If yes, take off the front pickup (the part the runs along the floor in front of the rotating brushes) and run a very narrow lint pickup brush (like for cleaning dryer vents) and clean out the hose. It works great.
3) Check the front pickup for clogs and clean
4) If you are trying to pick up water, make sure the setting is set to wet. If you are trying to use it as a vacuum, set it to dry.
Generic problem for all Vacuums Clogged, will not pickup Hose Clogged, will not pickup Hose also clogged no suction I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
I’m not sure if you have a canister or an upright but there are thing you can check on both machines, canisters – you can check the suction from the end of the hose and work your way back to the canister, start with the end of the hose, then remove the hose and check the suction on the vacuum – most clogs are in the hose – if you have a hose clog run a steel ball thru the hose to see if goes thru all the way if itdoes than check the bad and the filter, if those are ok you may have a bad motor. If it is an upright, make sure the height adjustment is correct and is adjusted correctly, then use the steel ball and run it thru the attachment hose to see if that is blocked or clogged. Then check the belt and the extension wands to see if there is a blockage there as well, if you have good brushes and the tone changes from high to low and the brushes are actually hitting the floor, then you may have a motor problem and then you might have to replace the motor or fan assm. I hope this was helpful.
