GeWJRS2050T2WW Washer machine fills agitates but won't drain out water
The most common reason for no pump out is a blockage in the pump. Best to drain as much water as possible. (even laying the drain hose down to allow as much of the water to drain out as possible) Un-plug washer. Next, open the front of the washer by using a putty knife to push in and release the clips about two inches in from each side at the seam where the front panel meets the washer top. Pull the front panel forward and lift it off the bottom pegs. Remove spring clamps from inlet and outlet of pump with a plier. Remove two pump mounting screws to allow pump removal after unplugging electrical leads. Remove obstruction from pump. Most pump bodies can be separated if necessary. Reassemble, plug back in and test.

Washer fills with water but does not agitate. When the timer clicks to the agitate cycle I hear the motor running, but no agitation. The washer fills and drains and spins.
