Hi, I have motorola razr for year and a half now. I had no problem so far and suddenly 2 weeks backs, the phone wouldnt start even after charging. I removed battery and re-inserted in 4-5 times and yet it didnt come up. Next day i tried first time and started working. Yesterday, it went off again and its been whole day when display just wont work. I can receive calls etc...but my display doesnt lit up. Any expert here who can help me out? Thanks
If you take the battery out then with the battery out plug in the charger, this worked for me.
U must change display strip
Try taking out the battery, put it back in and while powering up the phone, squeeze the bottom left corner of the phone - under the keypad *, next to the mic - and see if the display lights up.

I have had my MOTOV3 RAZR cell phone for about two years. After charging last night, I opened phone, and although I can turn it on and make/receive calls, there is no display.....display seems like it is "turned off." I have turned phone off and on a couple times and successfully called myself via anothe phone and placed a call.
After charging, display will not illuminate (appears like it is "turned off"). Can still make and receive calls.
Any suggestions

Last night I shut my phone, and then re-opened it, but when I re-opened it the screen was black. So, I figured that it just shut-off so, I turned it on again, and the buttons lit-up but the screen did not. So I took out the battery and put it back in and tried it again but the screen was still black.

All of a sudden the display stopped working, though I can make and receive calls.
RAZR V3 spontaneously the LCD functions stopped working. No damage or drop. After removing and replacing the battery several times, there is no improvement although the voice functions are intact. The

my phone keeps going black but the keys are lit... nothing works... to get the screen to light up. whats the problem... battery? faulty wiring? just needing to be charged?
I can receive and make calls but my display screen is blank I tried taking the battery out and plugging the charger in how long will that take before the screen comes back on?
Same problem here. I changed the battery. But did'nt help. Finaly I changed the phone. Of course that helped.

Both the faceplate display and the flip-up display turn on.
However, no issues to place or recieve calls.

I have had 3 Motorola Krzrs since January...each one has had major problems, but my current one is the worst. I opened it to check a message and the screen was blank so I shut it off and took out the battery. I put it back in turned it on and it worked, but when I shut it the screens quit working again. Each time I shut and open it I get a different color background. Turning it off and back on helped for a while and I could still receive calls, but now when I try to turn it on it just gives me a blank white screen and won't work at all.
