Pandora Activation Code Not Generating

I have the Samsung BD-E5400 Blu-Ray Disc. Pandora did not recognize my log in and I had to go online to Samsung.com and download the latest software update BSP-E5400WWB-1006.0 and save it on my computer in a zip file. Then I had to unzip it and save the RUF file with the same name BSP-E5400WWB-1006.0.RUF on a thumb drive. I inserted the thumb drive in the back of the Blu-Ray and went into settings/support/software upgrade and picked the option to upgrade by usb. This quickly uploaded the updated software and restarted my Blu-Ray. Everything was fine then. I was able to go into Pandora and it recognized my account and email/password.

Upgrade BD30 wi-fi

To upgrade the firmware you will need to download the newest firmware from this site: http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/bd/download/bd30/index.html and burn it onto a cd. If you can't or don't want to burn the cd it looks like they will can send a copy of it to you.

I have a samsung bd-d8500a bluray hdd combo and would like to know how to make it region free?

if you bought the player in Dubai.......Download the update file for your player from the samsung BRAZIL website.

Open the RUF file in a hex editor http://www.handshake.de/user/chmaas/...load/xvi32.zip is good.

You will notice right at the top SAMSUNG BD-P1600 XAX, change the XAX to MEA, must be in capitals......do NOTHING else and save the file.

Use this file to update your player using the instructions in the manual and you should be good to play dvd's and blu-ray's in your region.

For the person that bought their player in the USA......Do exactly the same but replace XAX with XAA.

I had this problem after the Decembe 2010 firmware upgrade. Today I went to the samsung website and downloaded the RUF file for USB. You must also downloand the instructions for installing the upgrade again. It will probably take 2 installs. Now all works great. Problem solved/.

Firmware download for MAC

hey same problem here, but I just downloaded the CD version anyways... then dropped the .RUF file onto my desktop, selected it, burnt it to a CD-R (RW will also work) and popped it into the BD-P1500, so far it seems to be running along steadily in the update process... hope this solves your problem.

I have a Samsung BD-P1000 Blu-Ray Disc Player that will not play Blu-Ray discs rented from BlockBusters in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. To Date, of all my 100 regular DVD, and approximately 25 owned Blu-Ray...

BD-P1000 Update Solution
The solution that worked for me: I went to www.samsung.com/ca and downloaded the Samsung BD-P1000 player's firmware update to my desktop. When opened, I was directed to"burn" a DVD on my computer. I then inserted the new DVD in my Blu-Ray player. The player automatically checked and confirmed player model number and registration and uploaded information from the DVD and the update was complete. The BD-P1000 then flawlessly played the rented Blu-Ray disc of "The Scorpion King".
Thank You Samsung!

Blue ray player wont play blue ray ''Kung Fu Panda'' disc.

i fixed this exactly as previous posted solutions, however a couple of points.
a) recordable CDs work if you don't have a DVD burner.
b) I didn't have a CD burner that would do an "image burn", I downloaded a free copy of "Express Burn" and that worked fine. The disk needs to be "finalised" or "fixated", it should do this automatically, or it may be a tick box selection.
c) I got a "No DWLD 09" when I put the disk into the player. I found this was an incompatibility with the CD-R (Maxwell) I was using. I changed to JVC and it worked fine.
