SOURCE: LG Refrigerator - I need to remove the ice disp.

The dispenser cover snaps off. Look at the bottom corners of the dispenser faceplate and you may see small slots to put a small flat bladed screwdriver inside to help pry the faceplate off. This faceplate snaps on very tightly so it may seem like there are screws holding it in place, but it only snaps in.

Once you have the faceplate off the rest will be easy as you can see what you are doing and what you have to remove.

Note, if you are replacing the funnel you need to know that this part has been updated as of OCT 2005 (stronger clips to hold it in place) and it will not snap into the older funnel frame (the part it attaches to).

If the serial number for your model starts with 510KR or lower, then you will also need the updated funnel frame part number 3210JA0006S.

Hope this helps, please rate my solution.

SOURCE: LG LRSC26925TT ice dispensing funnel broken

Yes. But LG came out with a new frame for the funnel. So you have to order the funnel and the frame which is installed through your front control panel. Good Luck I just did it.

SOURCE: The funnel on the ice/water dispenser just broke

Hi,

Yes, this is true but it is not a difficult job. All you need is a phillips screwdriver and and a flat blade screwdriver.

I'll walk you through the steps:

1. First you have to disconnect the button assembly. Pull it down until it stops, then pull it forward.

2. Next, remove the display assembly. To remove it you first must create a gap with the flat blade screwdriver between the funnel and the display frame and pull the frame forward. The cover dispenser is held on by a hook. Disconnect the display assembly by applying pressure to the upper part of the cover dispenser with your fingers and pushing the display assembly from the housing.

3. After you disconnect the display assembly, use the phillips screwdriver to loosen the four screws and remove the funnel.

Assemble in reverse order.

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,

Handie Andie

Where is the water filter on LG fridge LRSC21935TT?

Your water filter, if you have one installed, is located in the light housing of the top shelf. It is easiest to take your food off of the top shelf and remove the shelf to get easy access to it. I normally place a towel under it to catch any drips. If you do not see the canister hanging down then the bypass is likely installed. This is not a filter and can be used if no filter is desired. The "change filter" light will go off after a certain amount of time, or usage regardless if the filter,or bypass is installed.

Lg refrigerator water dispenser would not shut off

so two things I have learned. First if the tabs on the funnel break dont buy a new one just crazy glue back in place. Also if you take the gasket out put vaseline on the nubbins and they will slide back in place without having to take the panel apart. Fix time 7 minutes. Booyah!!!

Lg lfx25960 Ice Dispenser

I had the exact same problem on my LG LRSC26940 and was able to fix it fairly easily. First remove the Ice Funnel by pulling down on it. Then remove the entire dispenser panel by getting your fingernails underneath and pulling out. Disconnect the electrical connecter to the front panel PCB. Remove the 4 screws attaching the bracket that the Ice Funnel connects to. This exposes the solenoid that opens the Ice Door flapper. In my case, the electrical connections to this solenoid were bad. I simply scraped the spade terminals on the solenoid off with a screwdriver and crimped the connectors with a pliers. I put it all back together and it is working fine now.
