The PUK code, (Personal unblocking Code) is used when you enter in a PIN wrong too many times. Not sure why you would need a PUK for inserting a indian SIM card. regardless the PUK code should be entered in when the AT&T SIM is inserted in the phone and asking you for the PUK. Also PUK's can change, you may need to call and get a more current one

PUK is a unique code to unlock your phone if you entered wrong pin 3 times continuosly , to get PUK code you can call your network provider and they will give you PUK code to unlock blackberry 7290 password. Remember don't put any puk code from untrusted source since it will not make your blackberry unlocked. If you want the simple and quick method to solve this problem just change your old sim card with new one and reset your phone.

However if you can't find that you can call your provider and asking them about your puk code and it's free. Maybe you can try to unlock your blackberry phone using blackberry bold 9700 unlock code for att network. It will make your blackberry unlocked and you can use any sim card on your phone so you can try to look at your data using another sim card.

ASKING FOR PUK code for blackberry curve 8520
The PUK-code is not actually bound to what type of phone you have, but to your SIM-card. This code usually can be found together with the papers you got when you first got your SIM-card. If you can't find it you can try to contact the operator, e.g ATT and ask them for support. They can usually give you the PUK-code if you give them your personal info.

A request for a PUK code ("Personal Unlocking Key") will appear on your phone if your SIM card PIN code is entered 3 consecutive times incorrectly.

Your SIM card will then become "PUKed" or Blocked. This is a security measure to protect your service.

You need to call the Customer Service department of your cell phone provider and they will give you the PUK code which will unblock your SIM card.

Blackberry 6510 puk code
The puk code is sim card spesific it comes with the sim card when you get it or you can get it by calling your phone service provider of the sim card to get the puk code.
if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times you will make the sim card useless and you will have to contact your phone service provider for a new sim card, it will probably cost.
