So in order to access Google internet in your mobile phone you need to have your phone set to proper GPRS settings or WAP settings.
Almost all the network providers have these GPRS facilities.
Just in order to use the net you need to call the customer care for proper settings to be activated and changed when you are done you can access your internet. The customer care executive will give some information just note down enter in proper areas on your settings page on the phone. You need to tell them the model number of your phone.
You should have mentioned your country and network provider for a even precise answer, anyways I provided all I knew.I am from India and I use Aircel network, to activate my internet settings I called customer care told my model number and they provided nessesary data.
Some things which you have to know so that you wont waste your time. -But it has No 3G, Wi-Fi or GPS -You cannot connect your phone to your system to access internet, you can only browse in your phone.(Mobile browsing was also not that great for some pages to open it is asking some plugins to be downloaded) -Samsung Kies is a software provided on the Samsung website don't confuse this software for connecting to net it is just a software to transfer data.(My system needed internet connection to install this software and after all is done it was only a data transfer software)
I was able to unlock the phone and use the net. You have to change the settings in the connection menu. Go to the GPRS option and put in the following: Connects to: Internet Access point: wap.cingular User name: WAP.CINGULAR.COM (All caps) Password: Cingular1 Primary DNS: Leave blank Secondary DNS Leave Blank
Make sure you change the name from T-Mobile Data to Media Net that is the service AT&T uses. The only thing you will not be able to do is send picture messages. I am still looking into how to fix that issue. If you call AT&T technical they are going to tell you that you can not change the settings just so that you will buy a phone from them.
Try looking at the settings in your Midlet manager and making sure that java applications are allowed to access the Internet. I do not have this particular brand of phone with me at the moment, so I am unable to tell you the exact menu settings, but with some sleuthing you should be able to figure it out.
