I own a SL1200 MKII and when the light "turn on" in the pitch control slider (green LED) the speed is not correct (big dots on platter move slightly) .Could you please give me some tips to solve...

Use the slide on the pitch control to move forward or backward until the dots stay steady. If it is a little old the quartz control won't work as well.

How to calibrate control on a technic 1200 by sight

Put the pitch slider to +6 and adjust the internal preset until the top set of dots on the platter are stationary.
Check again with the pitch at +3.3 if the dots are stationary then job done!, if not then the pitch slider is worn and perfect calibration won't be possible until the pitch slider is replaced.

Tempo slider does not increase or decrease when move up or down

I am in the same boat. I disassembled both of mine and had them powder coated at a paint shop last summer. Both were working fine but now the pitch on one unit is not working. And the green zero lock light stays on no matter which way I adjust the ptich.

Pitch Control Problems

More than likely the pitch needs to be calibrated. Although not very hard, I would suggest getting this done by a professional, as it does require opening up your turntable.

Here are instructions - TECHNICS PITCH CALIBRATION

If you cannot perform this, then find yourself a good technician who knows what they are doing.

If this does not work, more than likely either your pitch control, the pitch gain, or one of the IC's need to be replaced - at this stage, only a qualified service tech can help you.

Good luck!

Counter clock spinning

pitch slider can cause an unstable motor (clean with can of air and switch cleaner) if it spins counter clockwise it will be the brake. there is a little screw in a hole under the platter to ajust the brake speed.

Help for technics 1200 MK2 and 1210 Speed is too fast

On the 1200MK2 the pitch control slider is for just that purpose. Disregard the 0 setting and use the illuminated strobe marks on the platter to adjust to nominal speed. When they appear to be motionless you are there. The control on the 1210 may be a knob but the same principles apply.

Pitch LED not working

LED probably burned out, or installed reverse (+/- reversed) - Or, you installed a clickless (MK3/MK5) pitch control in an MK2 turntable.

Did you do this yourself? Or did you have this professional done? If professionally, and the LED does not work, ask for your money back! This is electronics repair 101!

If you did this yourself, then more than likely you installed the LED backwards. The longer lead is the positive lead. If the LED did not burn out, you might be able to just remove it and switch it around. If it does not work, then it probably shorted (more than likely). Also make sure that none of your solder is touching. This could cause a bad short to your entire turntable. So you want to becareful.
