It should be the last threaded hole right before the water enters the pump itself, on the low pressure ( inlet) side, most pumps have 2 different size holes 90 degrees from each other, commonly 1/4 and 1/8 in.

SOURCE: have a Honda Excell VR

If they are the tires with the plastic rims then there was a recall and a local service center can replace them for free, if not I have tires that fit on this unit in stock, price is $13.33 each, send me a email at [email protected]

What is a Thermal relief valve?

The thermal relief valve is a valve that opens when the water inside your pump gets too hot. When you are not pulling the trigger on your gun, the water is circulating inside the pump. After a little while the water starts getting hot from the friction of the moving parts. When the water gets too hot, the heat starts to damage the water seals. What a thermal relief valve does is, at about 145 degrees it opens up dumping the water inside the pump on the ground. As the water pours out, new cool water flows in from the garden hose, cooling off the pump. I personally recommend a thermal relief valve to everyone I sell pumps to. Not all pumps come with a thermal relief valve. For the price (between 10 and 15 dollars) they will save you a lot more than they cost.

I have a honda excel 2500 psi , where would the pressure relief valve be located?

Many of the excel units don't come with a pressure relief valve but instead a thermal relief valve, it really depends on the model number of the pressure washer. You should only replace the thermal relief valve if it is leaking.

Excell r 2522 presure washer pump rebuild

I like http://www.ppe-pressure-washer-parts.com/excell-vr2522-replacement-parts-pump See pump upgrade and compare to rebuilding. Another good site is www.pressure-washer-parts.com. Piston seals usual begin by overheating from excessive idling. You might add a thermostatic relief valve to help this.

I just bought a 2nd hand honda excell psi max vr 2522 2.2 gpm max 5.5 hp gvc160. i put gas and oil and it wouldn't start?

Have a helper hold the trigger of the wand open while you try it again. If it starts that way you have a sticky unloader valve in the pump. DO NOT RELEASE the trigger for more than 10 seconds if the engine continues to strain when released! If the engine doesnt run freely when you let go of the trigger, pull it again and shut down the unit!
Add some power steering fluid to your supply hose (about 3 or 4 ounces at a time) and restart the unit with the trigger pulled. Allow the oil to flow through the pump for 1 - 2 minutes for each treatment. Several treatments should make the pump and valve happy again.

Hope this helps.

Reconditioned B&S pressure washer will not restart

Some suggestions:
Is the gas old? If in doubt replace it.
Try removing the air filter and spraying carburetor cleaner into the carb Then try starting it. If it runs for just a minute, then stops, the carburetor needs cleaning.
