If the igloo ice maker icefull light stays on, what does that mean?

Found the solution for my machine with exact same symotoms: the hard water had covered the infrared source and/or receiver. They are opposing black and transparent 3mm circles on the left and right wall when you look inside your icemakee. They are supposed to detect if ice cubes pile up so high that they fisrupt the direct liner of view between those 2 dots.
Just clean them with a wet acidic solution to clean of the hardness, e.g. use vinegar or lemon juice.
Worked for me.

Ice thickness control

The ice thicknes control is located on the bottom left. it has a wire going
to it and ha a black rubber bottom. depending on the position it is secured.
will determine the ice thickness. loosen the two screws and push it higher
for smaller cubes and lower for bigger. If you are having problems with it.
There is the possibility it is dirty and sticking.

No water, light, or ice on the door

The control panel is most likely at fault. They are all controlled by the panel. Very rare for all 3 devices to go faulty seperately

Water lines to ice maker are clear and pressure is good but the ice maker recieves no water to make ice

Take a 6 inch piece of 14 gauge insulated wire and strip one inch of insulation off both ends of the wire. Bend the wire into a U shape. Remove the plastic cover from the front of the ice maker.Locate the holes marked L and V. Insert the 2 stripped ends of wire into the L and V slots. If you get water, the ice maker is bad. If you do not get water, the water valve is bad.

Bin control

The bin control shuts it off when the ice bin is full. Without a bin control it should keep making ice and never stop.

Something wrong with Harvesting cycle, ICE will not come out, coils freeze up.

If you need answers and have not recieved results I will try to help, I see no one responded to your request because the manual and diagnostics info seems to only be sent to people that sell and purchase the machine. If you need help and want answers  you can call me at 864-812-1887 or e-mail me at [email protected]  your description of the problems could be many different possibilities. I want to know and help also. Thanks John Tripp
