Be sure that it's still plugged in and not on a plug in that is controlled by a switch that got accidentally turned off.

Other than that it is likely that a fuse got blown or the power supply died. In that case take it in for repair.

SOURCE: Janome 9000 seems to be jammed.

I had the same problem with my 9000. After my third visit to the repair shop they finally told me to always check my thread uptake lever. I have had no problems since.

I'll bet it's the fuse. I had the same problem about a year ago.

SOURCE: Janome 9000 lost all power in the middle of embroidery and won't turn back on.

have you checked to make sure the power cord is plugged into the machine correctly?
is the outlet getting electricity?
if the answer to the above is yes
then it's possible the power cord, motor could have with out
have you checked to see if the sewing machine has a battery compartment
or a fuse compartment?

My janome memory 9000 squeaks when embroidering

If it squeaks when you are embroidering and not when you are sewing, it's the belts on the embroidery unit. From use, they can become glazed, slick and then they squeak.

If it squeaks when you are doing either, it's more than likely an internal lubrication of the machine that needs to be done by a trained technician.

My janome 11000 memorycraft's needle threader has jammed in the down position and cannot be moved

Thanks to floraq803, we have our 11000 working again. The needle threader was stuck in the down position. We turned off the machine, and turned the wheel (which controls where the needle is) until the needle threader bar was straight (approximately 1/2 way between the needle being all the way down and all the way up). Turned on the machine and the threader came back up again. Now back to sewing.

I started sewing and my machine just went black and stopped. It won't come back on. There is no sound, no lights, nothing. What can I do?

it's possible that either the computer motherboard went out on it.
since it's a janome computerized sewing machine I would suggest
having it serviced to see what's wrong.

Can a memory craft 9000 embroidery machine embroider hats?

I have seen some clever ways on you- tube to make unusual shapes fit into the hoop, using clips etc. You can also buy sticky stabliser so the hoop holds the items without it being in the hoop. I'm sure you can also get devices to help you embroider hats, but i'm not sure they will fit the 9000. try an internet search for more information and possible devices

How large an area will the 9000 embroider?

The embroidery field (or "stitch field") is roughly 4x5 inches (a wee bit less, but roughly that size).

Exactly? 100 mm x 120 mm or 3.93 inches x 4.72 inches.
