You need to change a new card, maybe the card is damaged or broken.

By the way, if you want to enhance the photo quality, make use of Leawo Photo Enhancer. This software is able to automatically improve quality of the photos you have taken due to its Artificial Intelligence Enhancer Technology.

The card has corrupted. You'll likely need to use recovery software (see this article). After recovery, youmay need to format the card in your camera to correct the corruption.

SOURCE: problem with importing images to laptop(macbook) from nikond200 trough data cable

Camera must be in point-to-point USB mode for remote tethering to work.
In menu with wrench icon, make sure USB is set to "P" point-to-point.

I'm sorry but you can't use the camera as a webcam. Here is why. There is no function on the camera to stream video.
Also, the camera goes into standby mode after 30 seconds (by default). And 3 minutes after that, it shuts off completely. It does that to save batteries. Again. I'm sorry. Good webcams average between $20. to $50. usd and they are made to work 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

You can use a 4GB memory card in your camera, as long as it's an SD card.

If you get that message, it means you haven't formatted the card for use in that camera. You have to format the card in the camera before you use it.

Even though the solution was not what you prpbably wanted, don't let it stop you from rating it a fixya. I would appreciate it. Let me know if I can help you with anything else, and thanks for coming to FixYa.

SOURCE: Nikon coolpix 4600: How to transfer pictures from camera to card?

ok I figured out how to do it! put the memory card into the camera, then go to view the pictures. Then press the menu button and scroll until you see the copy button. Then you will see the option to copy from camera to card, or card to camera. Press the option to copy from camera to card and press select all....(or whichever pictures you want copied...I wanted all pictures copied). Then voila! it takes a few seconds to copy from the camera to the card, and there you have it! :)

MEMORY CARD SHOWING FULL BUT WHEN CAMERA CONNECTED TO DOWNLOAD TO LAPTOP OR DESKTOP ITS SHOWING FREE SPACE AND USED SPACE BUT NOT SHOWING ANY PICTURES AND VIDEOS,

Save the pictures and videos on the card. Try reformatting the card in the computer, and then again using the camera. The first reformat will ensure the card is empty, and then the camera reformat will ensure that it is recognized by the camera. If the camera reformat will not work, try a new card.

"memory full" but SD cards are empty

Not sure if it will be this, but has the SD card got locked by accident? There is a little sliding button on the side of the card, which can be locked to protect the content. My camera shows the card as full if I accidentally lock the card. You can just slide it back again to unlock it. I never noticed the button was there until I accidentally knocked it while loading the card in and out of my PC to transfer the photos.

My sony cyber shot camera suddenly is saying that my Lexar 4GB CompactFlash Premium Series 80x needs to be formatted. What about my pictures?

You might have locked memory card. If not first try to connect memory card to PC with memory card reader and try to copy your stuff... then after you take all stuff try to format it.

SD Card Problems with Vivitar Vivicam 5118!

What size is the memory card. If it's larger than 4GB then it won't work in the 5118.
Try using another card. Don't format it in your computer but do format it in the camera before trying to take pictures.

I just got a samsung sensory pleasure nv3 i put a 4 gb memory card in it and it says memory full but the card is empty

Hi
Try formatting the SD card before using it.Also, check the storage destination of the pictures, could be they're storing on your camera and not in the memory card.Make the SD card the default storage device.

Hope it helps.

Hi, got new kodak camera and 4gb memory sd inside. i only took 8 pictures so far and said internal memory full. i dont understand why? i want to keep 8 pictures and it should be plenty as using 4gb and...

4GB "SD" cards are almost always actually SDHC (high capacity) cards. SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but they are slightly different electrically. Many cameras won't work with SDHC cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

So your camera is not able to use the 4GB card, and is ignoring it and using internal memory only. That memory is tiny and won't hold many pictures, and when it is full, the camera cannot work at all. You need to delete the pics in the internal memory and get a memory card your camera can understand (2GB or less).

Memory card shows empty on pc, but it does have pics and videos

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Memory full ... when there are no pictures

Try refomatting the memory card. Basically this removes all data from the card and makes sure it is empty.

It sounds like you have copied the pictures to your computer but NOT told the camera to delete from the camera card as you do so.

Check your camera manuals for details.

Sony memory stick PRO duo 4gb card says memory full when empty

I would suggest formating the memory card through the options on your camera. If you reformat the memory card and you still get the same error then you have a bad card. Just like anything else the cards will break down internally over time.

Memory sticks empty and shows no memory available

i have a solution that worked! Notice: save all the needed data on your computer, because Formatting your Memory stick will wipe everything out!
if you have a Sony PSP, or know someone who does, replace the memory stick that says "no memory Space" in to the PSP port, go to "Settings" which is the left-most section of the PSP main screen, then scroll down to "System Settings," select it, Scroll down again to the "Format Memory Stick" selection and press "X" follow on-screen instructions and  SHAZAM!  its ready for action in your camera again!
