Now wont boot up , starts and then stops , how can i load from a disk?
This is a state your BIOS corrupted. Re-installation may not be successful. Need to re-program the chip with original BIOS.This process is technical and need expertise in that. I really don't know a BIOS reset will work for you. There is some steps you can try
Remove laptop battery and power cord. Press and hold the power button for 2-3 minutes. Put back battery and plug in power cord and start.
Remove the CMOS battery and all power in sources(laptop battery& AC adapter) and short the two terminals in the CMOS battery holder with a screw driver or similar thing. Then put back everything and press power button. I am not sure that these steps will bring your system into a working state.
try these steps before going to a re-programming
Hope this helps
