You have to regulate the heat yourself by setting the room temperature dial to 1 for a low heat (say for the daytime if you are out) and a higher setting in the evening - Make sure you switch it back to the lower setting before you go to bed. This should make the heat last for most of the day - the other dial is to regulate the heat that is stored so in the summer set it to 1 and the winter store at a higher setting -hope this helps

they are storage heaters and they have bricks in them. They get heated during the night (economy 7), that starts according to what has been set on the system (there shd be a *** 'boiler' room where the economy seven is). Anyway they heat up from the evening say 8 pm to around 6 am. And because the bricks are hot they slowly release heat during the day depending on what level you have set your room temperature to. The overnight charge does what it says on the tin, in that the brick will heat to a level you have set it at. the higher it is the hotter it gets and the more heat you can have during the day.

Creda Oven Model ESO 210 broken multifunction selector knob

Same thing happened with my Creda ESO 210. The function selector works find. It just doesn't rotate the piece of plastic that has the funtion symbols on it. I contacted the authorised parts supplier in Canada and was told it would cost $90 for the part. After a long wait, the part arrived and it wasn't the correct piece (they'd ordered the little plastic circle with the function symbols on it instead of the knob thingee that moves it). So, if that cost $90, I dread to think what the broken mechanism would cost. So, I gave up and I simply count the clicks from the off position to use my oven. However, if you really want to follow up on this, you can contact www.creda.co.uk.

I have a creda storage heater 79153, i turned it on on sunday night monday morning it was still cold , i changed the fuse at the wall still nothing, the only part that works is the convector heater at the...

Check the fuse board it should be marked up (but often is not especially if POLISH electricians concerned) it should be a 32 amp fuse.
The heater has a thermal fuse installed internally £12 replacement, these tend to be the only things that go wrong with storage heaters! get a qualified electrician who you trust to have a look otherwise who-ever looks at it will say its F****d and will take you to the cleaners
