The parts you need are two diodes, D6301, D6309, and D6116, Sony part numbers 6-500-567-21 (D6301 and 09) and 8-719-081-97 (D6116), they are located on the G board, and that's located on the left side of the set, as seen from the back.

D6116 is connected to pin 9 of transformer T6101, and D6301 and 09 are in series off of pin 7 of that transformer.

Replace D6301. CK D6116 D6117.

Diode D6116 or D6301 is open on the D board replace those two diodes.

This is the fix and it is not likely a do it yourself

the 9 flashes means your Diode D6116 or D6301 is open on G board and needs to be replaced ...and your chassis is Ax-1x

I would suggest not to desolder that transformer until you are certain that is defective.
Try to change D6116 and D6301 first.
You can try Radio Shack or check this site.

You have whats called a zero crossing detector problem my friend. Usually the problem is D6116 and or D6301 0n the G board.
