I've found that this is usually caused by a problem with the small plastic gears that operate the loading mechanism. Sometimes they break, need to be realigned, or get stuck.

If one or more of them have a problem then the loading mechanism never allows the disc to drop onto the motor to spin. Then the Wii realizes that the disc did not load properly and kicks it back out.

But the only way to see is to take the Wii's cover off.

The game disk wont stay in

Important!

If the game disc is ejecting on its own, this could indicate a problem with the disc or with the disc drive.

Information:

Wii Game Discs are region locked, and can only be played on hardware from the same country where the game was released.

Hey!My father bought a wii for me and in two days when i put the disc in,it wont take it!Even if it does the screen would turn black and if i press the eject button it makes a noise and wont spit it...

You will need to open it and mess around with the disc drive. You can remove the wii shell and still play on it so I suggest you remove the shell then try inserting a disc and you will see exactly which parts are stopping you. I've got a feeling its the little white piece that goes ontop of a disc as its put in sometimes they will fall out of place simple fix.

Wii keeps ejecting all games. Have had it for 2 years. Kids played on it all last week. Now it won't accept any game - it just keeps spitting them out.

There's either something jammed inside of the Wii's DVD Drive, or a part on the inside of the DVD drive is broken. All drives have a sensor on the inside to let it know that a disc is fully loaded and seated. If the sensor isn't engaged within a few seconds, it will spit the disc back out.

You can find a new DVD drive at the following website:
