Okay, I had the same problem of Jabra Journey not talking anymore, 'voice on connected "etc. And instead it only made sounds like bing bing... Here's the answer and its so simple! Turn the unit off with the slider off/on switch, (symbols are - or o). Then, press and hold the button at the very end of the unit, (symbol looks something like sound waves), while sliding the power back on. That's all there is to it and you'll hear it start talking again.

SOURCE: Connecting cell phone and Jabra

Check that both devices are BT enabled and in pairing mode -ie, leds blinking-. If one of the device is not in pairing mode, it is normal that the process fails.

If you experience the same problem on other phones with your Jabra BCE-250 -same as mine-, you might think of getting it checked first.

SOURCE: i change my handset now jabra bt125 is not

Go to this site, and it will walk you through each step to connect your particular Jabra headset with your cellphone. Choose the headset, and then at the next page, choose your phone. Moving your mouse over each step will change the picture to what you should be seeing on your phone at each step.

Try what Shelley says above...hold down the button while you search on your phone. It was the only thing I could get to work with my Jabra and Nokia phone.

I need to pair my bt2050 up to a new phone,it was originally paired wit another phone that i do not use anymore,im using a nokia x3 now and when im trying to find and pair up it says there is no device...

Hi Barbara,

Please follow the below steps, i hope your problem is resolved :-

  1. Make sure that your phone's blue tooth is out of hidden mode and , it now shows up as shown to all, in the connectivity settings.
  2. Make sure that you delete the pairing from the other phone , via it's blue tooth settings, if you are not using the phone and it's switched off , then you don't have to worry about it.
  3. Switch off the bluetooth and restart it , so that it's ready to accept new connections.
  4. Now go in your blue tooth option and search for a new paired device , it should reflect your Jabra blue tooth.
  5. If the above method does not work , sadly your phone does not support the Jabra blue tooth.
  6. You should also try connecting this blue tooth to someone else's nokia phone to check compatibility , if it's compatible with the other models, that means X3 is an exception to this compatibility.
Hope this helps.

I have the Original Jabra Stone Bluetooth Headset and I need to know to connect it with my phone with is an HTC Desire.

I'm not familiar with the HTC desire, but most cell phones are much the same when it comes to connecting a bluetooth device, you would go into your settings looking for bluetooth device, some phones it's under options, you want to make sure bluetooth is turned on, discover, or discoverable is turned on, then select search for new devices. Make sure the Jabra is on before performing the last step. It should discover the device then it will ask you for an access code, which is usually 0000 (four zeros). Keep smiling. :)

Problem pairing

Before you use your Jabra BT130, you need to pair it with your mobile phone.
1. Put the headset in pairing2 mode Make sure that the headset is on. Press the answer/end button and press the volume up (+) button at the same time, until a solid blue light comes on.
2. Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘discover’ the Jabra BT130 Follow your phone’s instruction guide. This usually involves going to a ‘setup,’ ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and selecting the option to ‘discover’ or ‘add’ a Bluetooth device.
3. Your phone will find the Jabra BT130 Your phone then asks if you want to pair with it. Accept by pressing ‘Yes’ or ‘OK’ on the phone and confirm with the passkey or PIN3 = 0000 (4 zeros). Your phone will confirm when pairing is complete. In case of unsuccessful pairing, repeat steps 1 to 3.
