I have had this same problem twice in the past 3 months. So far both times I've been able to get it back after a week or two. I'm not sure what works, but unplugging and detaching the antenna and cable and waiting a few days seems to be the key. In both instances, I unplugged it for a few days then plugged it in for a few days and repeated the processes until I eventually got the steady red led. Both times prior to the red led the led would flash red then green and make a clickiing noise for several hours before I was able to get it working again.

My experience is that the Z-sus board has blown! . this because a little power supply on the Y-sus board is defective. This power supply feeds the drivers for the Z-susboard. replacing the Z-susboard will result in a working tv but it will allso blow sooner or later if the little powersupply on ths Y-sus board isn't repaired first! this little pwer supply, supplies the +15 volts for the gate drivers of the Z-susboard and if you measure on those gate-drivers you'll see that the supply voltage has dropped considerably due to bad elco's on the little power supply on the Y-sus board.

Replace those bad elco's first before installing a new z-susboard!
