unfortunately my timer has a display that only goes from 0 to 9, definitely not 12 as the picture for the other one has. there is no visible model number, and no instructions and the woods timer site doesn't cover this particular one. i can get the lights to come on with the manual button, but a timer would be nice, or even how to tell it to go on when it gets dark etc.

Work with me. I am a timer expert. After many attemps, I cannot find a manual for Moonrays. OPEN the link I sent. Image shows 8 in the display, not 12. Open the link and read BOTH possible manuals for the moonrays. This is a dawn-dusk timer: The 8 means: Automatic ON at dusk and OFF 8 hours later. Read the possible manuals and say which one matches your product.

If timer override button works to keep lights ON, then plug power pack into cheap outdoor wall timer like Woods 50012 at amazon:http://www.amazon.com/Woods-50012-Outdoo...

Instruction manual for 052-8815-0 Wish to set timer for use 4 hours a day

Do you mean the Noma Digital Photocell Outdoor Lighting timer? If so, the manual is available at Canadian Tire on the product page: http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/noma-outdoor-lighting-timer-1-outlet-0528815p.html . Look on the right hand side under the Additional Info header below the other items viewed by those looking at the timer. The direct link to the manual is currently http://www.canadiantire.ca/content/dam/canadian-tire/manuals/0528815_ENFR.pdf .

If you want the timer to come on at dusk and stay on for 4 hours, press the Program button repeatedly until 4 shows in the LCD display window.

I hope this helps.

NOMA 1000 watt Photoelectric Timer manual

1) Copy following link to identify timer and download possible manual:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#N1502

2) If timer has gone defective, then N1502 has 1 year limited warranty.
Timer is rated for 8 amps.
125 volts x 8 amps = maximum 1000 watts
2-prong output.

3) For heavier duty timer, with 3-prong grounded output, choose N1506 timer

Noma outdoor timer 1875

Timer is not identified.
Noma is generic brand name used by different sellers to denote that product is a timer.
Noma is generally associated with Woods timers.
1875 is usually the watt rating for heavier duty timers, like 2 button block heater timers, etc.

1) Add a comment and describe timer in detail, and include photo of timer posted on Flickr for possible identification.

2) Open following link to find same-similar timer

Noma timer - digital three buttons - one for time & two for mode & ? but I can not figure out how to work it - HELP!!!!

Noma/Woods timers are re-packaged under other names and numbers, and appear across several brands.

I don't show a 3-button timer except for Stanley

Stanley 3 button timer:
http://www.amazon.com/Stanley-38468-TimerMax-Extreme-Temperature/dp/B0020ML758
Westinghouse manual seems to match the Stanley timer
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/28468_TimerManual.pdf

Woods timers and manuals are shown on page below:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html

Woods has 2-button timer N1506
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Woods-49122-N1506-manual.pdf
Woods has 1 button timer N1502
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Woods-N1502-manual-english.pdf
UPM makes 2-button timer
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/DT523-Manual.pdf

Write down what displays when each button is pushed, and then add a comment and I'll try to decipher the buttons.

Timer not working Malibu ML88T Power pack

there are multipul 12 timers on the market BUT if you use a 12 volt power pack designed for a car radio display or even a simple 12v 5 amp laptop power suply and a cheep outdoor timer or cheeper indoor timer and run wires inside you can add lights
remember theise lights are low voltage and if you change the bulbs out you can really strech out the amprage too
low amp led automotive bulbs are a great invention they draw mili amps and use 12 volts
i converted my noma moonrays to a laptop power supply and added 30 more to a single string so i curently have 50 lights on 1 power suply pulling aprox 4.5 amps out of a 5A power supply i used led bulbs and simple moma cord now i can light the whole back yard with 1 ps and it's really bright if i use the led headlamps mounted under the soffit on the house
