Nothing at all printing or copying, just blank pages

My printer has worked fine up until now, but has now stopped printing. It makes the usual printing noises but nothing at all prints out on the paper, either on copying or printing. Any idea what I can try to fix it?

you need to run a printer alignment process from the software apllication that came with your printer to resolve these issues. you should be able to access them via your epson tools folder or startup icon.

My Canon Pixma MX420 has stopped printing. It appears to be working fine, but then either spits out a blank page, or just the logo and header/footer on some documents with forms.

Try printing in photo. Sometime the check works OK but its not enough for regular printing. I use this method when I refill cartridges because they are not made to last more than original fill.

Prints only blank pages

I have a brother MFC 3240C. My Black ink stopped printing(initially printed horizontal faded lines and gradually got worse), the other colors were printing fine. I tried cleaning numerous time( 50 -100 times over 1-2 weeks ). Still no improvement. The way I print now is:
1. I go to Printer Properties
2. Change Media type from "Plain Paper" to "Inkjet Paper".
3. Change Quality to "Photo".

This takes a long time to print 1-2 minutes per page. However, this works for me since this is my Home printer and use it for printing only few pages here are there.

Good Luck

How do i make double sided copies for my HP 2840

When you call up your printer (usually [Ctl][P]) tell it to print even numbered pages only, but in reverse order, This means the last page to be printed will be page 2, and it will be face down on the top of the pile (blank side showing) Take the printed sheets and rotate them so the top (head) of the sheet is feeding back into the machine, with the blank sides up. Now call your print up again and tell it to print the odd pages only. The first sheet to be printed will be page 1 which will print on the blank side of page 2, and all the rest will follow in sequence, with the correct sides up. Works every time. The print control is part of the Windows system, so your application should provide the full functionality.

Printer prints top 1" of page, then just spits out blank pages

If the printer works ok on another PC, it seems quite clear that the problem is definately software (Driver) related. If you haven't done so already, I recommend adding the printer through the Printer\Faxes Add Printer Wizard and pointing it to take the drivers off the install CD (if you have one) rather than installing the printer from the CD Autorun. Just make sure that you've deleted the printer completely from Printers\Faxes and rebooted before each install attempt.

I hope this helps!
