Drum turns but it does not heat up or dry the clothes

Good day,
Timer woun't run if there is n heat.
1. Check to see you are getting 230 volts to the machine. The motor uses only 115 so is not a good indication.
2. Remove back cover. You will need an ohm meter to test the components.
A. In the center bottom is a skinny white bakelite device held on with one screw. Remove one wire and check. It should check zero ohms. If not replace.
B. On the bottom right is a canister with the heating element terminals sticking out. They should test at 30 or less ohms. If not replace the heating element.
C. There are about 3 other limit thermostats in the area you're working. They should all check at zero ohms. Replace as needed.
Below is a tutorial on changing a heating element.

If the heating element is getting very hot that means there is no air flow across it. If the drum doesn't turn then the blower is not turning causing the element to get very hot. Could be drum belt, drum rollers, or motor.

It could be several things but most likely the heating element should be around 9-13 ohms. If that checks good check the thermal cut out, thermal fuse. Most of these parts are very inexpensive and all are easy to replace. There is a video at www.appliancehelponline.com/servicemanual.html that can walk you thru the troubleshooting of your problem. It may be a different model but the troubleshooting will be the same. You can also get diagrams and illustrations of your specific model by entering your model #. All parts come with installation instructions. Not all models are available. If you need help disassembling your machine there are videos of this also for most styles.

The way to visually see if the belt has broken or not is to 1) unplug the dryer. 2) Remove the lint screen on the top of the dryer. 3) take the two phillips head screws out where the lint trap is. 4) with a flat head screwdriver pop the top of the dryer up by sliding the driver inbetween the top and front of the dryer and pry upwards a little. 5) You'll now see the drum, if the belt is not around it its broken, and if it's visible try to lift it. If it taught, its good. IF THE BELT IS BROKEN OR LOOSE CONTINUE TO NEXT STEPS 6) on the left and right upper inner sides of the dryer you will find two screws, one on each side, remove these and the front should be easlily remove. 7) once off you'll be able to easily see the motor, the belts idler pulley, and everything else.
