Hello, I bought my elderly parents a Polaroid TV, (20")? or so with a DVD and VCR combo built in. Model# TBX2000AF Chassey# CN12DVR Anyway, my father seems to have dropped the remote too many times on the tile floor and needless to say it doesn't work anymore. I tried buying a Phillips Universal remote, but there is no code for the "trio", just TV or DVD/VCR machine separately. After calling Phillips they told me what I already found out in their instructions that their remote would not work on the Polaroid TV/DVD/VCR and I have had no luck getting hold of Polaroid. Before I buy multiple remotes and spend a lot of time on this, might you know what kind of universal remote will work on this TV? I hope you can help me, and if not I thank you for your time and consideration. If you could respond to the [email protected] address as well as this one, [email protected] I would appreciate it. Tracy
I also have a Polaroid. I used my Direct TV remote and went under Mitsubishi and searched codes. I channeled up until my TV powered off. I then hit the Select button. Then I tried to power the TV on with the Direct TV remote and it worked. So, maybe it will work for everyone's. Good luck.
