Your circuit board could be bad, but i would pull out the circuit board and spray contact cleaner onto the button, let it dry a few minutes and connect the battery and press that button quiet a few times and see if that fixes the problem.

SOURCE: This is not syncing with my pgx4 receiver The

Look for a possible source of interference.

The unit is likely FM and an FM receiver will "capture" the strongest signal right one or not.

Key is to find which of the two components is faulty. The green LED's really mean very little... other than battery and carrier received.

If you can find another system to isolate which is failed, then progress can be made.

It's hard to tell what might be causing the mic to not power on. It would be best to send the mic to Shure for repairs. Contact Shure Service.

How to take apart a shure pg58 microphone

"PG58" is just the capsule on top. That capsule has been offered on many Shure wireless. We would need to know the model number of the transmitter (it is inside the battery compartment).

My toshiba TP48E60 model projection tv won' turn on, power light just blinks

Blinking of power LED are fault indications. Count the number of blinks occur at one time switch on. For this number, you can get an idea about the faulty section circuit inside it. It will make troubleshooting much narrower. If you wish to get more details about the blinking codes, check this link. Pull up older posts there.

Why won't wireless mic turn on the "Ready" light on receiver?

Make certain the mic and the receiver are in the same exact frequency band. There are stickers on both products that list the frequency band.

Why won't wireless mic turn on the "Ready" light on receiver?

The handheld is in a different frequency band than the receiver. There are stickers on both that saw what frequency range they can tune to.

I am trying to open up a Shure PG58 wireless microphone in order to repair its on/off switch. Can anyone help, please?Type your problem for a solution...

No, do NOT pry things off or damage the casing like these guys said, first, unscrew the the collar right under the mic head, the head will come off with the collar, then uscrew your battery access cartridge, remove the battery, look on the opposite side of where your on/off switch is there is a small black philips head screw, remove this screw, then push on the positive and negative contacts that your battery plugs in to and this will slide out of the hand held cartridge, and that is your circuit board, the on/off button is on that circuit board. get you some contact cleaner spray and spray a little on that button, let it dry for a few minutes and then plug your battery into the end of that circuit board and push that button in and out quiet a few times and it should start working properly for you, did for me.

Mic won't power on. Battery is not the problem. Ideas?

It could be many different things. An experienced technician would need to look over the entire transmitter to diagnose what is wrong. The following company might be able to repair it: www.deltaaudio.biz
