SOURCE: 2gb sd card but available only 1gb

levyveress,
Well you have a 1GB SD card, there are roughly 1,073,741,824 bytes max per gig. They vary slightly from USB flash drives it total bytes, but the number should be 1,930 (or something close) MB for the 2Gig SD card, bring it back it may have been mislabeled on the packaging.

SOURCE: I have forgot the password

Most memory cards have a lock switch on the outer edge of the card, its very small. look on the physical memory card and slide the switch back and forth a few times, leaving it in the unlocked position. Then insert it into your computer and try again.

How to remove write-protection on a micro sd card

  1. Connect the microSD card to a computer
Use a memory card reader to connect the microSD card to a computer for formatting. In case you're using an SD card adapter, ensure that the write protection key is in the unlock position.
  2. Locate the card Right-click My Computer, and click Manage. Go to the Disk Management tab on the left pane, and locate your microSD card from the list of available disks.
  3. Format the microSD card Right-click on the microSD card's drive, and click Format. This eliminates all data, including corrupted files that cause write protection in storage devices

Where do I insert my microSD memory card or does my computer have a slot for it?

Here are the ways for you to insert your microSD to your computer

1. Use "memory card reader" (this is probably the best way)
brymz_6.jpg
find the slot that says "micro sd" that's where youre going to insert the microSD

2. Use the internal memory card reader of your pc ( if your computer has it)

it is located in front of your desktop. The find the slot that says "micro sd" and insert it.

How do I load scan disk pictures onto computer

If your PC has an SD card reader you can place the microSD card into the adapter that it came with and then insert it into the slot on the PC. The SD card reader will be a small slot usually at the front of the computer. If there is no SD card reader then place the microSD card into the gadget you use it with such as your camera/phone etc and connect the device to your PC using a cable the device came with. The cable will have a USB jack at one end that will fit into the USB ports at the front/back of your computer. Once your device is connected you can follow the on-screen instructions to access your pictures.

Memory card cant be read My 4gb SanDisk microSD memory doesn't read on my computer. I bought it today at Radio Shack.

Are you using a card reader? If yes, you need to isolate the problem. Please follow the steps below:

1. Try connecting your memory card reader into different USB port of the computer.
2. Try using different card reader to see if there's a problem with the card or with the reader.
3. Connect it into different computer.
4. Remove and reinsert the MicroSD in the card reader and make sure that the card is properly seated.
5. If the card reader and the computer are working but still unable to detect the MicroSD, try to reformat the card.
6. If same problem persist, return it to the store and have it replaced.

Have a great day!
