Because your machine is computerized, it is important to clean and oil as directed in the manual. Oiling incorrectly could damage the machine. You should probably take it to a professional for annual maintenance.
You probably need to find out what software was installed on your Pfaff. Some machines will only use WinXP, others will use Win7, but the really new machines may use Win10.
Your tension is wrong. Adjust the needle tension by turning your dial to a lower number. Try just a slight turn and try it out on a scrap of fabric. Keep doing this until it is right on both sides of the fabric. You may need to adjust this tension for different thicknesses of fabrics from time to time.
On these machines you cannot open the left side to remove the bulb. Your machine accessory kit should have come with a rubber tool that is ribbed with a cup-shaped opening on either end. This is a tool for removing the bulb. Tilt the machine with the base facing up so you can see where the bulb is and use this tool to twist the bulb gently. It sould come out with no problem! Hope this helps!
Be sure your embroidery card is in the side slot BEFORE you turn on your machine. If you are using a pre-loaded card, you would hit the "hoop" button first. This will move the embroidery portion. Then punch in the design number. If you are using a personal card, make sure your design was actually transferred to the card. The instructions in the book are TERRIBLE!
