Hold down the power button. Let the printer shut off. Turn it back on. From Windows Start button, go to Control Panel - Printers & Faxes; right-click on Canon MP390, click on Printing Preferences, open the tab for Maintenance, click Quiet Mode and choose Always Use Quiet Mode. When the error recurs, cancel all pending print jobs: double-click on the printer icon in the tool bar (bottom right corner of monitor) to open the Print Queue, click on the jobs, then press the Delete button on the keypad. After all pending jobs are deleted, power down the printer by holding down its On/Off button. After 2+ minutes, turn it back on & try again. Depending on how frequently you use the printer, you may find it's time for a replacement.

What's your question?my printer hp laser jet 400 pro is displaying use black cartridge install press ok to continue and I press ok change the cartridge still the same things

If you install a cartridge that has previously been installed you will get this warning message. Once you press OK you should be able to print normally. This message is to ensure you do not put the old cartridge in by mistake (yes it happens), or someone does not try to sell you a used cartridge as new.

The display on my printer has stopped working, can I still change an ink cartridge without it?

You should be able to change cartridges. It may be hard to determine what is wrong with the display but look for loose connectors on the back of the display, the controller board, etc.

Printer display says "Print cartirdge(s)

when you replaced them did you go into the menu located on the printer and tell the printer that you were changing the cartridges out? If not the printer thinks that you still have not replaced them. To do this all you have to do is go into the menu select the option that says change my cartridges (or something like that) and remove the new ones and put them right back in the printer should then recognize the cartridges.

My canon MP 145 printer displayed E5. How can I solve my problem?

E5 means your cartridge error. May I know are you using original ink cartridge or yours has been modified before?
I assume you to refill your ink cartridge before because E5 error won't appear after replacing new cartridge.
So, you need to take out both of your ink cartridge and then use a clean cloth to wipe them. After that, slowly put in back into the printer. If the error is still there after wiping it, try to do it till the error is gone.
I had tested this way with my own printer and it works again without needed to buy a new ink cartridge.
All the best and good luck =)

Put in new 12a toner and still get, no toner cartridge on the display window

Make sure that the spring contacts where the cartridge goes in aren't bent in or dirty. Also, when you put the old cartridge back in,does the printer recognize it? If so, then your new cartridge is defective.

Error with Konica Minolta 2300W

Seems like when you changed the toner cartridge, that the cartridge is NOT SEATED PROPERLY when put back in the printer.

Take the cartridge back out and see if the side cover (held in place with one screw) is able to move freely on the cartridge, sometimes it sticks and won't allow the cartridge to run freely in the printer, thus this beeping noise and jamming of cartridge. there is also some small holes (three in total) on the inner side of cartridge (the side that goes in first) sometimes small bits of plastic are still stuck on the holes from manufacturing and you can remove this plastic around the holes with a knife, and give a free path for the cartridge to rotate.

Empty ink error message

Hi, its sad to say but the printer sounds that needed to be send to the nearest service center in your area. You already reseat & replace the ink cartridge and issue still present. Please call your printer manufacturer so that they can give you more options aside from sending it to service center. Thank you so much,

Black Cartridge just changed, but still says K-toner low

The only way to clear the message is to wait until the the display shows XXXX Toner Out, then change the cartridge and the message will clear itself.

Overiding Empty Cartridge error for Dell A10 962

I would take out both cartridges and put them in again. Realign the printer and the error codes should remove themselves. Try turning the printer off and on before puting the cartridges in again. That may make a difference. You can let your computer know not to tell you when the ink is low too. Let me know how this work for you.
