Telefunken TLCD-37FHDA TV. I haven't got ANY REMOTE for my set.

You can't unless you can find a Source Button on the side of bottom of the set. Just buy a new replacement remote for that set.

Since this set like all others with the "child lock" require a code to be entered and the remote is what is used, I would say it cannot be done without the correct remote and the password.

hi..To do a Child Lock, follow these steps:

Turn on your TV.
On the remote, press the Menu button. The Set-Up Menu appears.
Scroll to the Key Lock function and set function to Off.
Press the Exit button to exit....

press the display button on your remote for about 5secs. until the lock disappear then turn your unit off on the remote then unplug it.
