Fujitsu Stylistic 3500 Pen calibration in XP Tablet Edition

I have a Fujitsu Stylistic 3500 which I successfully loaded XP Tablet Edition on. I installed the Pen drivers and it recognizes the pen, but it is not calibrated. The cursor is in the correct position in the middle of the screen, but as you move up the screen the cursor goes further away from the actual pen position. How do I fix/calibrate this?

Well there is a few ways to try to fix it first with a usb mouse check that the resolution is at it's native pixel count. This can be found on the manufacture website. If it is already at that resolution ensure that the CIC XPen drivers are installed. Those should have placed a recalibration program in the control panel. If those both fail, try uninstalling the drivers and restarting, then reloading the drivers. Hope this helps! food luck and godspeed!

SOURCE: pen not detected on especific zones of display

Had the same problem. Just open the tablets screen enclosure. Look at the back of the LCD panel. You will see a little circuit board with several black plastic connectors. Push all these connectors firmly to the PCD. You will notice that one or more have come a bit loose. Before closing the lcd panel housing, put some adhesive tape over the connectors. This will prevent them from failing again.

Fujitsu Siemens Stylistic ST4120 Tablet PC pen not working with screen

I just fixed this problem on the 4120 for a friend, What I did was first to install the drivers from the Fujitsu site so XP was displaying all drivers as installed in Device manager.

Then I ran windows update to patch it up to date and then I downloaded the drivers from the wacom site.

http://www.wacom.com/en/support/drivers

Then choose tablet pc from the first drop down and then os (xp in my case) from the second drop down.
Reboot
Pen working!

How do i get the pen an tablet to calibrate

Assuming you are running Windows XP Tablet Edition:
Go to Control Panel Select Tablet and Pen Settings Tap the Calibrate Button
Follow the instructions.
There should be a similar Tablet control in the Control Panel for other versions of Windows.

If i buy a fujitsu 3500 tablet computer with no operating system. what operating system does it need to operate correctly?

Hi,

You might try Windows NT and windows 2K as well as windows 98 because the drivers were available over the support site http://support.fujitsupc.com/CS/Portal/supportsearch.do?srch=DOWNLOADS or better try to purchase a recovery cd from fujitsu .

Fujitsu LT C-500 pen not working

Hello Zerozero, I hope to be of some assistance to you... I myself have the same tablet and just recently successfully upgraded to XP. Apparently due to licensing issues the pen driver isn't allowed to run on XP. To make it work there's two ways, the hard way involving a software download and much pain, the other way is 'relitivly' easy... lets try that way first. Download the CIC XPen off of the Fujitsu support site... now here comes the interesting part. Unpack the driver to C:\Drivers\Pen once you've unpacked it find the file called fujpen.inf open it in notepad to edit it. You will see:
[ControlFlags] ExcludeFromSelect=*FUJ02B6
Make sure the last digit is 6 in that string... this is saying to exclude that model in the driver. If it's anything other than a 6 change it to a 6. Now then... further down you'll see:
[FPC.Mfg] %FPC.DeviceDesc0% = pendrv, *FUJ02B6
Now... remember what I said about the 6 above? Yeah... the driver is fighting with itself, help it out and change the last number to a 7. Save the .inf file. Go to your device manager right click on the unknown device and update it with the modified file... and presto changeo your touchscreen works!! Now... you'll notice that when you restart it will still say that the pen cannot be started... but this should only limit the CIC software from starting... meaning that to actually write on your tablet you'll need to install microsoft office... it has built in writing pad software, and dictation software (which is my personal favorite). Good luck and God speed! If you have any problems let me know!

Pen Problem

First try updating to SP2 and then get the latest Windows Updates from Microsoft.com.

If that doesn't fix it, here are some Win2000 drivers for your laptop.

http://www.fujitsupc.com/www/content/exe/PenW2k1.4.exe
http://www.fujitsupc.com/downloads/mobile/st3400_pen_w2k.exe

If that doesn't fix it, try these Wacom drivers.
