Bosch dishwasher stuck on CL

The control board on my dishwasher went (puff of smoke and lights out) so I replaced it. Once the new one was installed the power came on. I ran it on regular wash and the indicator counted down from 90 to 80 without any activity. It was stuck on 80 so I hit cancel and the indicator changed to CL. I haven't been able to get it off of CL. Tried to cancel again, turned machine off, circuit breaker off, re-installed the board but nothing has worked. Any thoughts?

SOURCE: Bosch Dishwasher will not power on

I have a bosch dishwasher model 2046. When you try start the cycle you hear the timer inside start to activate but the cycle doesn't start. The light in the start switch does not come on as well but I think it may be burned out. We have checked the breaker and I seems to have power.

Is there a Reset button for Bosch shu53 dishwasher?

Press and hold Scrub Wash and Delicate/Econo buttons at the same time for three seconds. This will advance the unit to "CL" (clean), meaning the washing cycle is finished, and will drain the water. Do this if your unit gets stuck on 1 minute left, which is common with this model. (I am told that the control panel melts over time, and that the unit is not designed to last more than 10 years.)

Error code C1 PO......

Hello. Your model dishwasher has a recall on it. There is a potential problem with the control board. Call Bosch at (800)856-9226 to find out if your unit needs to have a new control board installed and re-programmed. This only covers the replacement of the control board--any other problem will be covered by the customer. You will need the model and serial number. Next, regarding your model's problem...this was gotten from another tech site(I'm a member of quite a few, lol)
"Sounds like the unit is stuck in the control coding mode. C1 is the proper coding for your model so you just need to lock it in.
To enter coding mode, press and hold the second, third, fourth and fifth buttons to the right of the display simultaneously, then turn the dishwasher on using the On/Off switch. The associated leds will be blinking to confirm coding mode.
Release all buttons to view control coding. To change coding, press the second button to scroll through codes C0 - C9. C1 is the correct code for your unit.
Turn the dishwasher off to save control coding and exit coding mode." I hope this helps you! Let me know if you need further assistance!---Thanks!

I little puff of smoke came from my Kitchen Aid Dishwasher Model 8531654 and now is not working. The lights are on but it never cycles through.

Sounds like the motor when ka-fooeey! Have a technician check the motor with a volt-ohm-meter to make sure that that's the problem.

Even after ensuring that really hot water is coming from the faucet and placing the unit on the Delicate/Econo setting we consistently get a 2 HR reading. We have also had it where the unit gets stuck on...

this is common, a lot of bosch dishwashers had circuit board recalls. call bosch to see if yours is one. also if you get the cicuit board replaced, ensure that it is programed correctly when it is installed. main reason dishwasher extent time is to heat to a certain temp. bosch will then average out previous cycles and adjust its times. sounds like your not heating.

Stuck on last minute

I have seen a lot of these dishwashers burn out the control board, and usually the symptom is the timer not working or inability to complete a cycle. Most of the ones I have seen, you can remove the control board assembly and its pretty obvious where its burnt. If you can do the repair yourself, the board is about $150. Hope this helps!
