If you don't hear sound on YouTube videos, please try the following steps:.

  1. Adjust the volume control on your computer and speakers.
  2. Adjust the volume control located in the lower left corner of the YouTube Video Player.
  3. Restart your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.)
  4. Ensure that the volume is turned up on other video players, such as Quicktime, Real Player, or Windows Media player, as this might affect the video player sound.
If you still have no sound after trying the steps above, you may want to try the steps below:
  1. Install the latest version of Adobe Flash (necessary for streaming YouTube videos) after removing any old versions you've installed. Learn how to install the most recent version of Adobe Flash player.
  2. Allow third-party Flash content on your computer by visiting the Adobe Flash Global Storage Settings Panel and following the instructions. Once this is complete, close all browser windows and try re-playing the Live Event.
Please be advised that this action stores a Flash cookie on your computer. Flash enables this by default upon install.
  3. Check your Antivirus and Firewall software to see if you're blocking third-party Flash content

Dyson ball jammed

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC24. If the Ball seems to be jamming during use, it may be because the filter inside the Ball is not secured correctly. Please check it's in place - if not, push it into position until you hear an audible 'click'. For guidance, it may help to take a look at the video below.

This should resolve the issue, but if you'd like any further assistance, please get in touch with us directly by calling free on 0800 298 0298. Our Helpline is available between 7am and 10pm, 7 days a week.

Not picking up dirt

Hi Madhuri,

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC07. If the machine won't pick up through the cleaner head, there may be a blockage somewhere. The easiest way to check for this is to follow the steps shown in our online support guide:

http://www.dyson.co.uk/support/help.asp?article=5&product=DC07-ST-BC

It's also a good idea to wash the filter - in normal use, this should be done at least once every 3-6 months, as shown in the video below. Use cold water without detergent, and allow at least 12 hours for it to dry completely before replacing it.

This should resolve your issue, but if you need any further assistance, please call us free on 0800 298 0298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US).

Kind regards,

Jack
