My Razr also won't ring; changing ringtones doesn't help. Ring style is set to loud, volume is at 7. I'm not getting previews of any of the ring tones as I scroll through them, and my speakerphone also does not work.

All you have to do is go into settings and go into ring styles you will see Style : loud or soft or vibrate or a few others but do not change the ring style change the detail at the bottom you will see what ring tone is set for your calls and text. (Note only change the ring style if it is on silent or vibrate.

(Sol 2) Flip down your phone press one of the volume botton you will see the ring style menu on the outter screen press the camera botton to change your style.
If you don`t know which style to select just plug in your phone charger and you will see the ring style it is in then you will know the ring style to choose.(please remmber to vote and rate me thank you)

Dropped it - put battery back in. Works for outgoing calls but only vibrates, does NOT RING for incoming calls. Checked Settings--> Ring Styles and changed to Loud (still doesn't ring) and back to Vibe...

Hi,

You dont hear tones after you dropped it.
This is because the speaker connection may be disconnected due to sudden ****.

You need to contact your authorized motorola service centre to fix this problem.this is a very small problem so no need to worry.

Thank you

Change Ringtone Automatically when charging

The BlackBerry gives few profiles to choose from; e.g. Normal, Loud, Quiet, Vibrate.... my recommendation would be to configure each profile separately and just enable/disable the profile you like when you enter/exit your car...

The phone itself is not capable to switching the profile on its own once it is plugged in to your car charger...

Hope this was helpful...

Vibration wont work

All I did was wait for it to come back. I think it might have had something to do with the battery being low. However, that's never happened to me when the battery was low. When I plugged my charger in, I got a text message. I had the ring on high and vibrate. It vibrated for a second, then it just continued to ring. Once my phone was fully charged, the vibration came back. I think it was just a glitch in the phone. Razr's suck.

No sound when phone rings

Look at the ring volume. Make sure it's not at zero. Let me know if that works.
