Braun barista master no water pressure

I have a Braun Barista Master coffee maker -> makes espresso, french press, or regular coffee. Suddenly no more water will come out. The water heats and it sounds the same as it always did but there seems to be no water pressure either to make the coffee (regardless of which setting I use) or even for the frother. It worked perfectly yesterday but suddenly just stopped. Any ideas of what would cause this or how to resolve?

SOURCE: NO POWER

there are 4 electrical parts
1 switch
2 thermal switch (keeps heater at around boiling temperature)
3 thermal fuse (will break if thermal switch gets stuck on, to prevent fire)
4 heating element (the hotplate and surrounding tube that boils water)

since the switch lights and hot plate is not hot then it is #2,3 or 4 that is not working.
it is most likeley the thermal switch which is not too expensive to replace.

check the thermal switch by disconnecting it from the wires. at room temperature the thermal switch should be closed. test with a meter set on resistance.

if it is not that check the thermal fuse in the same way, it should also be closed.

if those test ok and the heating element is bad (doubtful) then get another machine and save this for parts

I have a Braun KF580 Coffee Maker. The lid that covers the water reservoir has a broken "nub" where it should fit into the hinge. The number on the lid is >PR< N2 1 04 and under...

I have found two sources for Braun replacement parts; here and here.

Neither of these list the cover of the water reservoit as an available part.

Suggest you send an inquiry to each of these sites to see if this is a part they could source for you.

We have a stainless steel french press coffee barista from Starbucks, which we purchased in 2003. We need to replace the mesh plunger. Look for options in replacing that part

I have a 2003 press that I love. The mesh plunger works fine, but the little "handle" to push down has broken off. Could you use my plunger to fix yours? I think I'm going to have to buy a whole new one so I don't mind selling you the part.

My Barista Burr Coffee Grinder suddenly grinds too fine.

If it is any consolation, mine just did the same thing, now takes too long to grind and it is way to fine dispite a thorough cleaning by disassembly.
