Samsung TV will not turn on.

I just got this tv from a friend and it did not come with the ID label, so the Model stated above is my best guess. It has HDTV capabilities. I measured the screen and it is 45" 9/10th as any 46" Samsung is. It appears that everything works except for the screen. The screen has no visible cracks. Power up sound and power down sound works when turned on and off. Source button and menu do not change anything on the screen. All indicator lights light up properly.

Thank you so much, I'm going to give it a try and see how it works. You can't beat a free tv because someone is lazy. :P

SOURCE: Samsung LTN1765 has blinking green power indicator, but no picture or sound

Try replacing C51, a 10 microfarad 16v. surface mount electrolytic. It's near IC23 on the upper center of the board.
This part had high ESR on a couple of sets I serviced which
kept the power supply from starting.

SOURCE: No Picture - Samsung LN-S4692D 46in HDTV LCD

I had the same problem and I replaced the t-con board. My t.v. is fixed!!!! I just couldn't see spending another 700.00 dollars for a repair shop to fix it. The t-con board is located at the top of the t.v. once you remove the back cover. Be very careful removing the two plugs at the top of the board which was easy once I figured out how the clips worked. there is a black lever like connection which flips up, then grip with your fingers the tab and slide the tape like wires straight out. The bottom plug is very simple. Also to expose the t-con board you will have to remove a heat shield cover. Once removed there is foil looking tape that needs to be peeled back to expose the board. The board is very sensitive to static electricity so if you have a grounding strap that you can strap to your wrist and ground to the frame while performing your repair. Its best to lay the t.v. face down on the kitchen table with a blanket to protect the screen. Good luck!

SOURCE: i have a samsung hp

When the power was restored you suffered a power surge. Anything plugged in that did not have a surge protector was at risk. plasma tv's are especially susceptible to this. You will have to take this in to a tv repair shop for an estimate.
If the estimate is over 200 you may want to consider a replacement. Also purchase a surge protector so this doesn't happen again. Regards, Joe

Stuck with installing mobdro on smart tv. I bought a while back in Christmas. It is a samsung smart tv not picking mobdro.

It is an easy process to setup Mobdro on Samsung Smart TV. Samsung Televisions are not Android exactly but they are hybrid of Web OS and Samsung's Smart Hub. To Set up Mobdro on Smart TV follow the steps: https://www.juststream.io/how-to-install-mobdro-on-smart-tv

Samsung flatscreen turns on but screen does nothing. HELP please.

Check the internet. Most likely a series of cheap capacitors. Replace them all (the ones that match the culprit). ~.20 each US.

Hi there. i have the closest model, to LE-32B450C. Samsung LE-32C450. i guess..its europe model (im from greece). I bought the 32' TV a couple weeks back.. and now im messing with a shut down problem....

I have a few friends in the UK with the very same TV and no problem at all.
I would suspect either a power supply fault or a bad connection somewhere and I would return it for a replacement.

Sharp D64 37" issue (Power+OPC light flash and won't turn on)

I'm going to guess your friend's model is LC-37D64U. ( 37" screen; D64 series)
It's sounding like a power supply problem for the LCD screen. It's somewhat common problem for big LCD screens. But, too early for your friend to be having this problem with the TV.

I would have your friend use the warranty at this point. Last thing you want to do is void the warranty by opening up the TV.

I would first try leaving the TV unplugged for 30 mins so it can reset. Then, try turning it ON again.
If that doesn't work, it warranty time.

If your friend just bought it, have them exchange the TV for another one. I wouldn't want a TV that has problems that just came out of the box. The Sharp TV only has a 1 year warranty. Upgrade warranty life if possible. A repair for a problem like this would cost about $100 for someone to look at it; and $200 to $400 for the part at a TV repair shop.

My samsung model- HCN4226W T.V will not turn on

You should always have all expensive electronics on a surge protector. It sounds like for this set the power regulators blown out as I know this set very well and seen it a hundred times!! its a power regulator IC that cant handle a power surge at all. and if thats your only problem, it shouldnt cost more then 175.00 to 250.00 to repair. Now with a surge though there could be other problems as well but from what you stated Im guessing alls ok except what i stated. Now Please do not attempt to repair yoursels, as these sets have alot of Hi voltage inside them even when they are unplugged.. Good Luck
