Hi,

Comic Book Archive files mainly consist of a series of image files, typically PNG or JPEG files, compressed using one of several popular methods. The file extension indicates the archive format used:

Comic Book Archive viewers offer various dedicated functions to read the content, like one page forward/backwards, go to first/last page, zoom or print.
CDisplay was the first application to support the CBR format. CDisplayEx, a free and open source clone of CDisplay, duplicates many features of the original CDisplay. For users of the GNOME desktop environment, the Evince document viewer includes support for the format and users of the KDE 4 desktop environment can use Okular.

Hope this helps

How to convert XVID VBR MP3 and DIVX CBR MP3 using ConvertXtoDVD

Most Philips DVD players with DivX will play Stage 6 or VOD MP4 Video files if the FOURCC is set to DX50 or DIVX and the MP3 or AC3 audio is at a constant bitrate CBR of at least 192kbps, this is also the DVD Video audio standard in AC3, DTS or LPCM.

However with either DivX OR XviD video with VBR MP3 audio you will experience audio lag on playback the trick is to get the audio track in to a constant bitrate CBR and if possible with the audio frames Aligned on the interleaves as opposed to Split across interleaves.

If you plan on keeping the video in MP4 AVI v2.0 format then you MUST convert the audio to a CBR in either MP3 or AC3 format using one of the methods shown HERE.

If you plan on converting the MP4 video into DVD format you can first try to use the excellent ConvertXtoDVD this will attempt to convert the audio track into 192kbps CBR dolby digital AC3 audio whatever the source AVI audio.

If this fails to give you DVD Video without audio sync problems then you must convert the MP4 to a CBR audio and a FOURCC of DX50 to ensure Home Theatre compatibility.

Certain formats are not accepted even if its in mp3 format for Philips GoGear Mp3Player?

Files in .mp3 format can be encoded in many ways. In most cases, that problem you ran into is the result of the player not being able to play mp3's that have variable bit rate (VBR). Remember one song that plays normally and one that doesn't play. Then check their properties on your PC. The one that plays probably has CBR (constant bit rate) (it would say 128kbps CBR or 320kbps CBR, for example), while the one not playing probably has some version of VBR. If that's not the case, please say so, we'll look further into it. You should also check the manual that came with the player, it usually says what formats and what sorts of formats can the player play.

White bands across printouts

Either one of the print heads are bad or a cartridge. This is what causes that problem. I know it is a hassle but I would take it back. If try and fix it you could void the warranty.
