The problem is when I use pre ground coffee beans. The water doesn't run through. It comes over the top and the grounds get in the coffee. I buy them that way because they mark them down half price. I

If using paper filters, it may help to run water through them before filling with coffee grounds. The wet filter allows the coffee to pass through more freely.

Hi,

There are whole coffee beans, and there are ground coffee beans, but there is no such thing as "pre-ground" coffee beans because you wouldn't want the beans to be ground AFTER making coffee.

If you have a problem using "pre-ground" beans, then STOP using pre-ground beans and grind them yourself.

I hope this helps.
Randy

SOURCE: No coffee brewing with beans, but with coffee brewing with ground coffee.

It is possible that the grinds chute is blocked, remove the brew unit and check the chute from the grinder chamber, make sure that it is not blocked with coffee grounds.

SOURCE: The grounds are sloshy and

I think I have the answer to this: when mine started doing the same thing, I found that coffee grounds had accumulated and were blocking the seal of the water supply with the brew-group.
The Behind the brew-group is a clear tube with o-rings that slides into the brew group to supply water. One or both of these is clogged with accumulated coffee grounds. Try cleaning out both well.

SOURCE: Water (coffee) does not make it out through the

Propably the vibrating water pump is the problem.
It might be full of scale and it can not create any pressure or it is completetly damage and need to be replaced.
First we sugest to perform a descaling of the machine and try again.
Second you should try to reduce by little the quantity of the grounded coffee used. Aprox you should use 7 to7.5 gr of coffee. If you try to use about 6 to 6.5 and you have the coffee runing out from the machine like in 25 sec you have about 30 cc of water. Then try to clean the group shower which it can be ansrew by one cetrer screw and if you can you can open the machine and remove to clean also the coffee group solenoid valve. Bothe the valve and shower can be full of dry coffee that can blocked the way of water coming to the grounded coffee.
If you manage to clean everything above and the machine work ok so from now on in order to avoid the problem again try to flush water from the group many times without any coffee. With this is like you wash the group shower and valve from any remai coffee.
Good luck

SOURCE: ground coffee will not dispense

The beans are hanging up in the hopper and not falling down into the grinder...... wiggle it, give the beans a push, or go to a bean that is not so sticky....

After grinding, the coffee grounds end up inside the coffeemaker unit instead of in filter basket.

Usually there are two reasons that this happens.

1. Too much water or too much coffee beans. Test by brewing with water to the 12 cup mark, no higher. Use no more than the recommended amount of beans. (If your adding too many beans to get better flavor, try switching to a stronger coffee. I ended up switching to Starbucks and have grown quite used to it).

2. (More common). The coffee filters that your using are too short. Try switching to a taller filter such as BUNN filters. They are made taller and can resist the higher water level caused by too fine a grind.

1) I HAVE A ESAM 6620 DELONGHI MACHINE AND THE WATER IS NOT COMING OUT OF THE SPOUTS BUT I CAN HEAR THAT THE PUMP IS WORKING ? 2) WHERE DO YOU PUT IN GROUND COFFEE TO MAKE A BREW ?

Whatever you do: DO NOT PUT IN GROUNDED COFFEE IN THE MACHINE. You'll need to buy coffee beans instead of grounded coffee. If you fill it with grounded coffee, the machine will break down. If you already did put in grounded coffee, get everything out with a vacuum cleaner. The chance is high if you putted grounded coffee in it that the machine is already broken and needs to be professionally be repaired. about the other question, did you fill it with water and did you do a flush run beforehand?

Slow water dispensing

How slowly in comparison to other units? Have you measured it how fast it runs ?? If slower than when Syntia was brand new is maybe caused by an insufficiently cleaned brew group or lack of proper descaling .Calcium or mineral in the unit's lines and boiler can slow down your machine .
if the filter screen is partially blocked from old coffee tar then water cannot flow faster . In my opinion it always runs slowly when rinsing .
If you use a "Coffee Residue cleaner "only use it in the pre-ground
setting chute and use only a pinch at a time . then run pre-ground setting without any grounds and run another one to clear the detergent
Very oily ,sticky coffee beans can plug up any late model superautomatic's system as you can read in the unit manuals . Because the laser cut holes in the fliter screen are so small that any coffee tar will not flow properly through the screens .I have had many machines which had to be switched to a less oily bean to work more than for2 or 3 cups .When beans are roasted too fast and too hot ,the coffee oil can turn to coffee tar .
My Xelsis unit cannot handle very oily beans . 2 cups and it STOPS
I only use beans roasted to American Coffee institute recommended procedures .

There is no water coming out of the machine at all. No error light come on but when you go to make a coffee with beans or pre ground it goes through the process but just dry coffee comes out. Also no water...

For the steam check the end of the nozzle to make sure it is not blocked.
For the coffee run a coffee using the pre ground method but without coffee grounds, if water comes out then grinder is too fine, if no water remove brew unit and clean top shower screen, you might have to clean tube leaving from shower to discharge.

Gaggia Platinum Vogue Built in Grinder

Just use the whole bean. Using pre ground coffee through your grinder will screw the blades completely.
However if you have a decaff option that allows you to put coffee directly into the brewer that would be ok........just dont put it into your hopper that feeds the grinder.

Magic Comfort machine won't make one cup of decaf coffee

Make sure to use pre-ground coffee only (MEDIUM
ground) and not soluble coffee.
Question- check to see where the coffee is going- did it end up in the brew group- but you did not get coffee? Then, the filter is clogged. Clean the filter. If you have used oily beans, they can clog filter easily.
