If using paper filters, it may help to run water through them before filling with coffee grounds. The wet filter allows the coffee to pass through more freely.
Hi,
There are whole coffee beans, and there are ground coffee beans, but there is no such thing as "pre-ground" coffee beans because you wouldn't want the beans to be ground AFTER making coffee.
If you have a problem using "pre-ground" beans, then STOP using pre-ground beans and grind them yourself.
I hope this helps.

It is possible that the grinds chute is blocked, remove the brew unit and check the chute from the grinder chamber, make sure that it is not blocked with coffee grounds.

I think I have the answer to this: when mine started doing the same thing, I found that coffee grounds had accumulated and were blocking the seal of the water supply with the brew-group.
The Behind the brew-group is a clear tube with o-rings that slides into the brew group to supply water. One or both of these is clogged with accumulated coffee grounds. Try cleaning out both well.

Propably the vibrating water pump is the problem.
It might be full of scale and it can not create any pressure or it is completetly damage and need to be replaced.
First we sugest to perform a descaling of the machine and try again.
Second you should try to reduce by little the quantity of the grounded coffee used. Aprox you should use 7 to7.5 gr of coffee. If you try to use about 6 to 6.5 and you have the coffee runing out from the machine like in 25 sec you have about 30 cc of water. Then try to clean the group shower which it can be ansrew by one cetrer screw and if you can you can open the machine and remove to clean also the coffee group solenoid valve. Bothe the valve and shower can be full of dry coffee that can blocked the way of water coming to the grounded coffee.
If you manage to clean everything above and the machine work ok so from now on in order to avoid the problem again try to flush water from the group many times without any coffee. With this is like you wash the group shower and valve from any remai coffee.
Good luck

The beans are hanging up in the hopper and not falling down into the grinder...... wiggle it, give the beans a push, or go to a bean that is not so sticky....
