Orange-yellow line in all my digital pictures

A orange- yellow line is always in the pictures I take with my digital camera. It starts at the bottom left corner and shoots up vertically. I can photoshop it out....but is it the camera...the lense?

Holmanhouse, That may be sensor damage, you didn't mention if you were only working with just one lens, having the lenses on and off.  You should take it in for an evaluation at your local camera shop who is an authorized Nikon repair shop (always ask if they are, if they can fix it with Nikon parts they will be able to when the parts arrive instead of sending the camera away) that way you can still use it until you need to bring it in for surgery. randy320sgi

Thin orange line on my pictures

Hi,

You no need to fix this problem. This is a CCD failure and in some cases had been subject to a recall.Contact Fuji support this may be one of the recalls and replacement camera could be on its way. They will do it for free of cost.

Thank you !!

What does PICTURE ERROR mean? not in manual nor on line

Sounds like you will need to format the memory card as the card has become corrupted. This will permanently erase all the data from the card and then you will be able to use it again. To format the card: Press the Ok button - right arrow to Mode Menu - down arrow to Card tab - right arrow to card setup - right arrow to format option. You will see format yes or no. Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear the picture error message and the card can be used again.

Blureness

try to put the camera when taking pictures on 'A' and putting it on the 3rd option of flash from the bottom and the 2nd from the top. Try not to move the camera too much or have the people in the picture move too much.

What causes horizontal black and orange lines in your pictures

I had the same problem, sent it to Zacks Camera Repair in RI, and he said (not sure if I remember exactly) the cvd chip was gone, and that it would cost as much as the camera is worth to repair it ($225). He told me to not buy a Kodak next time....but I loved that camera for 4 years!!!!

Konica Minolta Dimage S414

I have exactly the same problem, I'm guessing that the flash capacitor has died. I'm using the camera for outdoor work only at the moment, when I get desperate I might try taking the top off to see if I can find the capacitor.
