Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.facebook.com, but in other site i can connect,only face book i can't connect, what's the prob??

It is possible, the site is temporary not available. This has nothing to do about Google Chrome, but about the site itself. Even the proxy-servers of your internet-provider can be the source of this problem. And if you're located outside of the US, the link between your continent and the US can be occupied heavily.

But,. it's also possible, the source of your problem lays in Google Chrome. Maybe you added -by accident- a site, which Google Chrome has to block.
And, in case your computer is hooked up to a router in your home / office, someone might have registered it in the router to block this address.

So, there are many reasons why you might have difficulties to access facebook. It's not always Google Chrome to point a finger at. If you still think it is, install a different webbrowser at your PC.

Try another browser or go download and reinstall Google Chrome. Don't delete the chrome you already have installed otherwise you will lose your bookmarks and settings. Just download and install it again and let the system handle upgrading and saving your settings.

Try downloading Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome. Unlike Internet Explorer they install in less than 5 minutes and they are faster and safer than Internet Explorer.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download Mozilla Firefox" (without the quotes). Download and Install Mozilla Firefox from Mozilla's website. Do the same thing for Opera and Google Chrome.

Check if your firewall or anti-virus is blocking Facebook.

Did you try uninstalling your Google Chrome and install it.
If not try to uninstalled it and re-installed and see whether it work or not?

Hello, I got one of those and what it dose is steal your contacts and send it to them.Let them know.You will have to reformat and reinstall operating system.but before you do that get a hold of face book on this page and explain whats happening.

This is the second reference I've seen today about not being able to access Facebook. Try logging into the "non"-secure site, http://www.facebook.com. If that works, then try the secure version, https://www.facebook.com.

Also, test your ability to log in with other browsers, such as Firefox or Internet Explorer. That way, you will have a means to evaluate the cause of the problem.

Sounds like it is being blocked.

Check your settings and check that www.facebook.com isn't being blocked. If this is a work computer then they may be blocking it for you :)

• Just try to Open the face book site from here.
• if your problem do not solve and same error occur then may be the problem will be in your browser that may be it do not open facebook then just try to change your browser like Firefox or Google chrome. Both are easily free available on different sites.

To download a browser google chrome "Click Here"
Just install it on PC and use it.

Here is my advice : Just go to www.microsoft.com and download internet explorer again and install it , then reboot your system . I'm sure that this will solve the problem . any way , why don't you try other internet communication softwares like ( firefox or google chrome) those both are great also . I advice you to have more than one internet communication software . I already have three just in case if one of them is corrupted . I have ( Internet explorer and firefox and google chrome ) . just try the idea and you'll be satisfied with the result .
