Hi. My new tchibo coffee maker won't brew the large sized coffee, instead only giving me about a tablespoon in my cup. The other sizes work fine. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear that your Tchibo coffee maker is not brewing the large size coffee properly. Here are a few suggestions that might help:
  1. Check the water level in the water tank. If the water level is too low, the machine may not be able to brew the large size coffee.
  2. Make sure that the coffee filter is properly inserted into the filter holder. If the filter is not inserted properly, the machine may not be able to brew the large size coffee.
  3. Clean the coffee maker. The coffee maker may be clogged, which can prevent it from brewing the large size coffee properly. You can clean the coffee maker with a mild detergent and water.
  4. Descale the coffee maker. If the coffee maker is not descaled regularly, it can build up calcium deposits, which can prevent it from brewing the large size coffee properly. You can descale the coffee maker with a descaling solution.
If you have checked all of these things and the large size coffee is still not brewing properly, then you may need to contact Tchibo customer support for further assistance.
Here are some additional tips that might help:
  • Use fresh, cold water. Stale or warm water can affect the taste of the coffee.
  • Use a good quality coffee. Cheap coffee beans can make the coffee taste bitter.
  • Grind the coffee beans to a medium-coarse grind. A too fine grind can make the coffee taste bitter, while a too coarse grind can make the coffee taste weak.
  • Clean the coffee maker regularly. A dirty coffee maker can make the coffee taste bitter.
I hope these suggestions help!

Lavazza Jolie Pod Coffee Machine, the water in the dispenser leaks out of the machine, and no coffee comes out of the coffee pod

Here are some possible reasons why the water in your Lavazza Jolie Pod Coffee Machine leaks out of the machine and no coffee comes out of the coffee pod:
  • The water tank is not filled properly. Make sure that the water tank is filled to the correct level. The water level should be between the minimum and maximum marks on the water tank.
  • The coffee pod is not inserted properly. Make sure that the coffee pod is inserted into the machine properly. The coffee pod should be inserted all the way into the machine until it clicks into place.
  • The coffee pod is clogged. If the coffee pod is clogged, the water will not be able to flow through the pod and into the cup. Try using a different coffee pod or try cleaning the coffee pod.
  • The machine is not descaled properly. If the machine is not descaled regularly, it can build up calcium deposits, which can prevent the water from flowing through the machine properly. Try descaling the machine with a descaling solution.
  • The machine is defective. If you have checked all of the above and the problem persists, then the machine may be defective. In this case, you will need to contact Lavazza customer support for further assistance.
  • Clean the coffee machine regularly. A dirty coffee machine can make the coffee taste bitter.

Cuisinart model DCC-690. Water filter for it please?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble finding replacement water filters for your Cuisinart DCC-690 coffee maker.
After some research, it appears that the DCC-690 model does not have a specific water filter that is designed to fit it. However, Cuisinart does offer a universal water filter that can be used with any of their coffee makers.
The Cuisinart DCC-RWF replacement water filter is a universal filter that is compatible with all Cuisinart coffee makers that have a water filter. It is designed to remove impurities from tap water, such as chlorine, calcium, and other minerals, to improve the taste and quality of your coffee.
You should be able to find this filter on Cuisinart's website, or at a retailer that sells Cuisinart coffee makers and accessories. It is important to note that the filter should be replaced every 60 days, or after brewing 60 pots of coffee, whichever comes first.
I hope this helps!

Why is my coffee weak?

If it is a drip maker, only gravity drives the hot water thru the coffee grinds. If the coffee is ground too fine, it immediately packs up and doesn't let water flow thru it and the water flows around the coffee instead of thru it.
Try using a coarser grind, and if not you can use a lot smaller amount of coffee and water. A smaller amount of coffee is easier to diffuse thru than a large amount.

Another thing is to slow down the water speed entering the coffee basket. I found the best way to do that is to use water just above freezing and place that extra cold water in the reservoir. The cold water takes extra time to be heated up by the coffee maker so less water is released over the coffee grinds per minute.

If your coffee maker overflows a lot, that is a good indicator that the grind is too fine and/or your coffee filters are too flimsy and are plugging up the channels in your coffee basket and the coffee can't enter the flask, so it overflows.

But the easiest way to check out your coffee maker is to use extra cold water and just run half batches (5 cup) of coffee instead of 10 cup

What is the gas to oil mixture for a poulan xt 20t weed eater?

For the older XT20-T on the trimmer itself it states to add 8 oz. of oil per 1 gallon(128oz.) of fuel. This gives you a 16:1 fuel/oil ratio, NOT 40:1 which is the spec for the newer trimmers.

HOW DO I CLEAN THIS COFFEE POT

I suggest you use vinegar acid.

You need a solution with half part water and half part vinegar acid.

1) pour 4 cups of water into your coffee machines water tank.

2) pour 4 cups of vinegar acid into your coffee machines water tank.

3) turn on your coffee machine to decalc.

4) refill tank with clean cold water and let it run through ( 2 times)

REMEMBER !!! ALWAYS POUR ACID into WATER !!!! AND NOT THE OPPOSITE !!!
If you pour water into acid it can explode and make terrible damages and cause chemical burns!!!

Hope this will help ypu

How do you go about "descaleing" the coffee maker? The water does not flow through the coffee capsule very well.

I know that most grocery stores sell a "cleaner" or two next to their coffee filters/coffee makers/kitchen appliances section. These are usually heavily acidic, and will do a great job of cleaining your coffee maker. I've always been wary of acid in my coffee though, so I just use white vinegar. It'll do a decent job of cleaning out the coffee maker. Run a 1:1 mix of water and vinegar through your coffee maker, drain it, then run water through at least twice.

Scaleing/deposits building up in a coffee maker are signs of imperfections in the water. All tap water has it, but if you don't want to worry about it, use bottled or filtred water in your coffee pot. Plus, your coffee will taste better!
