That is because the audio controller is not build into the chipset. You would need to know the manufacturer of the motherboard and download the driver from their site, then install it.

You will need to visit http://www.xfxsupport.com/ and register before you can log in and download the drivers for this motherboard.

It very well could be the pwoer supply going bad on you. Some games demand more from a gpu then others. This being said, the more your game needs, the more the card needs. Try troubleshooting with a larger PSU.
