The connection is for mains pressure cold water supply to the bidet. The connection was previously achieved with plastic "concertina" tubing with jubilee clips at each end. This had begun to drip leak and I have just replaced it with clear plastic tubing and jubilee clips. But is there a more professional and permanent solution. The pipes are in behind and under the bidet and close to the wall, making it difficult to work. Standard flexible 15mm connectors with compression fittings are too long and probably not flexible enough to loop and fit in the limited space between the pipes.
I don't know all of your situation, but I have found 1/2" flexible connection lines braided or neoprene very adequate. Another suggestion is to use 3/8" plastic tubing with appropriate fittings. Hope this is helpful.

if that is the case the fitting is probably cracked and unless you replace that fitting it will continue to leak.

That's the power steering pressure switch and it is very easy to replace. I don't know how much the part is, but it cant be very much. It's a very simple switch. I'd just replace it.

You can buy a snap in replacement end that can be bent and attached to 3/8 th's fuel line and by pass the rotted metal line. I have been doing transmissions Since 1981, and have the same rotted lines on my 01 Windstar. I just went to all hose except the line into trans and into radiator. double clamp the hose on the lines and save a lot of money. make sure you sip tie the hose so it is out of the way and check your trans fuel level when you are done. Let it get hot in park and running when you check the level on the stick.
Hope this helps.

The connectors for towing wire harnesses on foresters are generally on the passenger side, below the rear taillight inside the cargo space. some require pulling up the foam block that is between the spare tire compartment and the taillight. Check where you replace the tailights from inside the car, if there isn't a matching connector hanging out there, check around the spare tire compartment, see if you can remove the carpeted foam block next to the compartment and find the plug under there.
