What is the model number of your unit?
thanks for your help the model # 34mn-3tkvw..
OK, first check the temperature sensor to see if it is good. Measure the resistance of the temperature sensor, it should be between 1100 Ohm to 1600 Ohm at room temperature. Here is the sensor to order.http://bit.ly/SxVpCl

SOURCE: Cannot bake cookies in my gas oven
First, I would buy an oven thermometer to use in the gas oven to see if the temp you set is what you are getting. Second, Perhaps, you used a different pan or cookie sheet in one vs the other? Also the cookies perhaps should be a little closer together as they bake. A cookie sheet with a lot of uncovered surface will get hotter than one with a bigger load. (ever notice the instructions for biscuits or cinnamon rolls say "sides touching"?, same reasoning. if you put a few rolls on a big sheet or pan, you'll burn the bottoms, gas or electric.) Hope this works for you, when you get happy using the gas, you won't want an electric again.
SOURCE: bake or broil elements won't work.
Have you checked the main breaker or fuse for the stove? (lucky you did not get shocked.)
Do you have power to the stove elements?
If you have power to the stove elements, then I would look for a burned out wire in the path from the controls to the element. First place to start would be at the actual connection to the elements.
And glad to see you are still with us to ask this question. (((SMILE)))

Could be the sensor inside the oven.Mine burnt out when using the self clean feature. Two screws un-plug replace with new. Part less than 15 dollars

Hi,You need to replace the oven igniter. You will find that this is a very common problem with that model and other models that use this igniter. It is very simple to do.
Look inside the oven and you will find 2 screws at the bottom of the oven in the back. Loosen them up and remove the bottom panel of the oven.
Remove the broiler, and oven trays and it is a 10 minute swap out. Removing the above items allows you the access needed to get to the two screws that mount the oven igniter to the burner.
Using either a socket (1/4") or a nut driver, remove the 2 screws and unplug the igniter. The most difficult part of the exchange is unplugging the igniter.
The plastic will most likely break because it has become very brittle by being exposed to the heat. Be careful to break only the part that is being replaced.
If you do happen to break the fittings, they can be replaced with any male/female connector. If you need to replace this, I recommend that you stay away from plastic encased plugs.
You then install the ingiter, plug it in, and you are back in business. It is a very simple part to replace, but it is costly.
Thanks and take care

Since bake and broil use different elements, and it is unlikely both went out at once, and then I would suspect the switch instead of the elements.
