I have fixed 3 of this tv, with that exact problem in the last 2 weeks, needs a power supply, you can try to unplug it again, plug it in, hit the power button, as soon as it turns green, unplug it again, after 15 seconds , plug it back in, if power doesnt turn on by itself, turn it on, if it turns red again, emediatily hit power again, may have to hit power a few times in a row, but most of the time you can get it to come on this way, once it is on, it should run ok, until you turn it back off, but not a fix, needs power board

Well, I did get it fixed yesterday - thru no help of your site - but if you would like to know how I did it ,just email me back & I will send you my address so you can send me check for my fee!! It is rediculous that I must pay for a plan for someone to answer a question these days. I assure you I will pass this site onto my many friends who have these type of problems and reccomend the do not visit much less PAY for a service they can get for FREE other places on the web.

TV won't turn on

Before going OFF, the standby LED might blink. These blinks are fault indication. The number of blink should be counted. Count the number of blinks at one time, before the TV goes OFF. [eg: 4 blinks Power SOS P Board; 6 blinks Driver SOS 1 SU / SD / SC Boards
(SC energy recovery circuit)] and so on. you can get more details from this site named 'Electro-help'. You can reach it by searching the keyword "electronicshelponline" by internet.

I can't get my tv to turn on... nothing but blinking red light

Dont know if this will work for you or not, but my brother gave me his because of the same problem. It would power up and a green light would come on, then after 10 -15 seconds it would change to a red blinking light. I plugged a usb cable into the service port on the side and left the other end unplugged. Then plugged the tv back into the power. i took a small screwdriver and ran across the contacts in the end of the usb cable until both the red light and the green lights came on. I did this several times listening fot the clicking noises in the TV. after doing this for approx 20 seconds, i pressed the power button and the TV worked fine. 5 days now and no problems. Only thing I can think is I somehow reset the software and now it is working fine. Hope some of you can figure this out and give it a try. if the TV is just sitting, you have nothing to lose

Kds55a2000 red light flashing

The SONY Owner's Manual for the KDS55A2000 does not state what the 4 times blinking Power LED means.

However, my Sony Extended Care Service support insists that the projection lamp is the cause for the 4X blinking LED
Power light.
I do not agree but am forced to buy a replacement lamp (not cheap) to prove that the problem is probably the fan, as the TV Technician states elsewhere in these FixYa support questions and answer

Slow blinking red light

Yes you can first try this:. Red status LED, self-diagnosis error 44, check for open F9A06 on the Power PCB part # 283P128050 on the Power PCB 2. Red lamp LED, self diagnosis error 34. Check for 5-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 1 and 2 on the Engine Driver PCB if missing replace the Power PCB part # 930B921002 3. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature, this can be mistaken as a no power condition. To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds 4. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Check for 3.2 volts DC at connector LE pin 3 and 4 on the Control PCB, if low suspect problems with the switches/buttons on the Control PCB part # 935D776001 5. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Keyboard is not locked and key inputs at connector LE pin 3 and 4 check good. Suspect the E2P PCB part # 934C121001 6. LED does not stop blinking after 70 seconds of plug in. Disconnect the USB connector from the card reader to the front from the Chassis, if the unit will then boot up replace the Card Reader part # 299P271010. 7. Shutdown; red LED blinks 4x

The most likely reason for the no picture might be the back light is gone and needs to be replaced, now as for the LED light blinking on different intervals is because its diagnosing it self unfortunately the user manual does not have any information on this part only by contacting the Phillips customer support you might get a better idea, but check your back light first it may just be that. Also try to check your Manufacturer warranty repair.
