SOURCE: converting vhs tapes to computer using camcorder

I think it's possible if you change a setting on your camcorder.  Turn your camera on to VCR and then hit the menu button.  Look at 4. AV In/Out Setup and make sure your DV Out is set to ON.  I think this will make it work.  If not, try changing your playback functions.  I think the problem either lies with the fact that the camera is using its RCA connections as outputs instead of inputs, or it's not sending the signal on to the VCR.
Hope this works for you -

SOURCE: Panasonic AG DVC30. ALMOST new..only

This being a new set and if under warranty you MUST not attempt to openor tamper so as to VOID the warranty.
Now the obserrvation of the fault seems to be linked to a problem in the main processing board.
the static noise indicates that the servo or the luminance.
The fault requires that you will need a proper signal trace, use of an oscilloscope for video signal and a use of a proper service manual and Jig for looking into the board when it is disembled.
hence my request for such a fault seems that it be checked with the service center, take estimate and decide.
Sometimes a fault connection, and inter board connector, loose grounding or a improper shield, or dry soldering in the linking cords/ boards can be the reason but will require a close look with a magnification glass.

SOURCE: Panasonic AG DVC30 purchased on ebay. Getting

This is usually caused by an oxidized, misaligned or defective Audio/Video drum. You can try running a cleaning tape through the camera. If this does not solve the problem the camera will need to be serviced by a qualified service technician.

My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair cost low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

How to clean Heads of DVX100B

Hello there! This kind of tape is abrasive and so when it starts to rotate the S-post is not rotating one and the tension gets higher than it use to be with a normal tape. The best solution for this problem is to rotate upper drum slowly by hand carefully and spray towards it a head cleaning spray. Then wait for 15 min.and blow hot air from a hair dryer inside mechanism for 10 seconds ,and by this action no more droplets will stay on the drum surface.Attention when you put the first tape wait for 15 seconds in pause or stop mode and after push REC or PLAY button.

Auto lock not threaded

sounds like the threading mechanism isn't able to completely thread the tape. there may be something obstructing the travel of one of the threading arms that pulls the tape around the head.

Panasonic AG-DV2000 Mini DV VCR will not play large DV tapes

the "dv sensor"is actually a mechanical lever built into the cassette housing that moves the reel tables to match the reel spacing on mini or full-size DV tapes. check to see if this assembly is free to move. if it binds up, the reel tables may not move as far as they need to, and can cause problems similar to the one you're seeing. to inspect the mechanism, you need to remove the cassette housing. if you don't have a service manual, get a tech to help -- it's a delicate procedure for the inexperienced.
