Once connected to mac book pro 13" switching between ladibug, laptop desktop and smartboard is not allowed. However, other teachers do not have this problem. Further, when this exact same teacher goes into another classroom and connects to another DC190 ladibug, it works just fine??? Possible solutions?

Ok well this is a USB camera, ya need the correct cable and the drivers.. http://glenngurley.com/websites/town/011499s2.htm Take a look here as there is a lot of info about it. But basically as I said, ya need to find the correct drivers and install the camera into any USB port, when it's detected give it the driver software and ya should be good to go. http://www.usbman.com/WinME%20USB%20Guide.htm try the above link for some info.

I connected my HP5MP to the DP-300U LPT1 port.
I configured my port on the DLink Configuration tab, giving it a name "hp5"
...The default login is at http://192.168.0.10/ user:admin pass:(there is no pass by default)
On my Mac, I go to System Preferences > Print & Fax
Click the + to add a new printer
Select the IP option
Choose the Protocol: Line Printer Daemon - LPD
Type in the Address: 192.168.0.10
Type in the Queue: hp5
Print Using: Generic PostScript Printer or better yet, 'Select a driver to use...'
and find the driver for your HP LaserJet 5MP.
Save it. Works like magic. ;-)
If you change the IP address or password on the DLink, just CYA and write it all down on a sticky note then tape the note under the DLink chassis. There's no reset button on the thing, and if you're o a Mac, you won't necessarily have access to the Windows utility to jack with the DP-300U. So, write it down, kidd-o!

Hello. There is no "device" needed to connect the units together...You'll need a cable that is"mini display port to vga". In order to connect the projector to the laptop, the cable has to have the special Apple connector which fits into a specific socket on the back of the laptop. The other end is just a standard vga connector which is plugged into the computer input on the projector. Hope I helped you!
